The prizes
1st prize
The top prize of our Concert for CARE text competition is an incredible opportunity to have a unique music theme composed especially for you by a world-famous film composer. David Arnold will meet you to discuss the kind of theme you’d like and then write and record it. You will then receive your recorded theme on CD and on a specially framed and signed page of manuscript. The winner will also receive two tickets to the Concert for CARE on 18th October.
2nd prize
Another lucky winner will receive 50 CDs of the finest soundtracks ever composed, generously donated by Sony Music UK Ltd. This fantastic collection includes classic original soundtracks like Doctor Zhivago, Gone With The Wind, Ben Hur, North by Northwest, King Kong and Poltergeist, together with modern titles like Titanic, Cold Mountain, Casino Royale, Memoirs of a Geisha, Chocolat, the complete Star Wars and the most recent Sherlock Holmes. Also included will be two tickets to the Concert for CARE on 18th October.
Runners up
Three runners up will receive Concert for CARE posters signed by all the participants, plus CDs signed by the composers.
10 more lucky winners will get a pair of tickets to our special screening of Psycho at the Empire, Leicester Square, London on 17th October – and a chance to meet some of the composers.

i’ve just entered i’m so excited to see what the question is.
Everything is in the UK :(….except for me.
I KNOW!!!!
Yeah but not the thing to win a trip to the premier of the voyage of the dawn treader.
only in the UK!?! what! so not fair 🙁
Oh come on. It is so fair. Americans have had like, three contests so far, the uk has had around two, and France and Italy even had one :P. And there are more contests popping up as we speak :P. I think it’s quite fair. Good luck UK-ers! :P. Hope the winner(s) have fun!
You want to know the truth?! Here it goes: ALL those contests ARE unfair because we are talking about a movie that ALL WORLD will watch. So why just United States, UK and another countrys have contests? COME ON a contest should be MUNDIAL(!!!!). Im not saying this because I am brazilian its because its true. Is time to fox think about it, dont they see that this will be pretty good for the company? Not only the simpsons (at least for now) are the Fox’s mark.
Well, I often see contests go by without being able to enter, because they are Canada only. And the reason often is because they just can’t make them worldwide, it would be too complicated and cost too much. It annoys me sometimes as well, but you just have to live with it, in my opinion!
I really wish this contest was open for all countries. I would at least like the chance to enter 🙁
What?!?!?! I saw this email but was to busy to look at the site, I was so excited to get a theme by him…but now…all my plans are foiled…by not living in the UK…I want to LIVE THERE!
