Prince Caspian

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian dethroned Iron Man as ruler at the box office, pulling down $56.6 million, according to studio estimates Sunday.

To discuss some behind the scenes secrets is Ernie Malik, author of the Official Illustrated Movie companion of the film.

Prince Caspian, the rightful heir to the throne of Narnia, commits himself to battle, leading his fellow Narnians into combat. Astride his bay steed he charges, sword in hand, determined to depose the treacherous King Miraz and the oppressive Telmarines and at long last bring peace and prosperity to all Narnians.

As the lights went up in the theatre, after the first time I saw “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian,” I didn’t even know what to say. The one thing that I could think was that I had just seen one amazing motion picture, and it made me very well pleased.

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely the two writers that shared duties with Andrew Adamson on translating Prince Caspian from a book into a screenplay. This two gentlemen were an absolute joy to talk to and I hope to see them again soon. They’re really intelligent and definitely know the world of Narnia at least as well as the most die-hard of fans, if not better. This interview does feature some book/movie spoilers, so if you don’t wish to know the fates of some of the characters, you’d be better served by avoiding those areas.

Ben Barnes appeared on NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” promoting Prince Caspian. Switchfoot also appeared and performed “This is Home” from the Prince Caspian soundtrack.
