Rangers of the Dancing Lawn III

ooc:
ooc- *pulls up a chair and steals some of Machia's popcorn*
This is going to be great.
Just so long as you don't mix the popcorn with the applesauce... In fact, maybe it's best of you don't touch my applesauce at all... You might lose a finger....
ooc: mmmmmmm it's butter!
It is?.... *looks down in bowl* I was lied to...
ooc-Oohh....my money's on Fish. :D
Aye, me too... In fact I'll even bet one of my apples... okay, maybe just half an apple... Or maybe A slice of apple... or just An apple peel... How bout a seed? :D

Fish felt her face flush. She felt alone and small, and threw a dirty glance at Machia, who had somehow found an apple and was sitting against a tree.

"Ranger, ye've no idea the amount of battles I've been in. Ye consider killin' two dozen orcs a big feat? Ha! I saw the rise of Saruman, and I defeated his allies. We held him off fer as long as we were in Narnia. Seems to me, ye haven't done such a good job o' that, and ye haven't even had to deal with Saruman himself. So before ye go runnin' yer mouth, let's see what ye can do with a sword." Fish jabbed her sword toward's Sabriel's right shoulder.

Sabriel took a step back as she took out Lara, an almost glowing sword with strange symbols written on it. "Haven't done such a good job at defeating Saruman? Well, who were the cowards that fled Narnia when Darkness was too much to handle?" she said.
Sabriel took a step forward lashing out at Fish. Swords clashing, the both stood still in place as more Rangers surrounded them. "Unlike you, I was born into Darkness and forced to deal with the mess you and your fellow pirate over there left while fleeing Narnia. I dare you to deny that the reason Saruman took over Narnia was because of you guys! Do you know how many generatios have died because of you Pirates!" she said in anger as she gave a full turn to her left hoping to amputate Fish on the leg.

"What, ye think we WANTED to go back to earth? There was nothing there but bad memories. Bad memories and no Aslan. We knew that from the start, which is why we never tried to git back! Arr...."

Fish dropped her sword down and it clashed with Sabriel's. They struggled with their swords against eachother for a moment, before they were both finally brought in a large circle and freed.

"I do deny that we are the reason for the deaths!" Fish shouted angrily. "Look o'er there at yer dead friend. He died on the other side o' the battlefield than ye on which ye were fightin'. So then, is it yer fault he be dead? Nay, I don't believe so. Arr... I don't know why, but we were sent back to Earth. We didn't choose to go. And before we left, we risked life and limb to keep Narnia free o' Saruman's filth. If he think we jest stepped aside an' let him have Narnia, then ye are more ignorant than I thought!"

Fish brought her sword toward Sabriel's stomach, and as she did so, she swiftly unsheathed the dagger from her belt.

Sabriel laughed at the sound of the name Aslan. "I'm sorry, but I don't believe in this Aslan you talk about. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen a lion before. There hasn't been a lion sighting for over 400 years. Let alone an "Aslan" sighting!"

As Fish unsheathed the dagger from her belt she was caught off guard by the dagger that clashed against it from underneath forcing it out of her hand. "No cheating," she said. Sabriel threw her dagger against the tree that was behind Machia and struck her sword down on Fish which she managed to block.

Totally forgetting that she was in the middle of a duel, Fish dropped her guard in surprise. "No- No Aslan?" She asked. "Nay, ye much be mistaken... Surely Aslan wouldn't've-" But she was interrupted by a sword coming for her shoulder. Fish was able to get her sword up in time to stop it, but her mind was still on Aslan. "That jest can't be so! I mean... nay... it jest doesn't... Nay. Yer wrong. He's been here. He has to have been here."

While Fish rambled on, Sabriel took the opportunity lunge at her from the right side. And when Fish's sword struggled against Sabriel's, Fish all of a sudden felt weak at her knees. It was Sabriel who, with her leg, had tripped Fish from behind though she was still in front of her. Moment's later Fish was on the ground and Machia's sword was pointing at Sabriel.

ooc-*screams frantically at the movie screen* He's here! Don't listen to her! She doesn't know what she talking about! *eats popcorn with great haste*

"You're wrong Sabriel," said Elindil weakly, stepping into the ring of fighter. "Aslan is real..."

ooc- How I wish IOWW could be in on this scuffle!

ic- Migle stepped out from her tent after hearing the commotion,
"What's going on? What about Aslan?" she was utterly confused, but wasn't surprised that Fish and Sabriel had swords pointed towards eachother.

Fish felt herself go red again. "Machia, I can handle me own battles," she said under her breath. Her sword had been knocked about five feet away, and she held her hand out, expecting it to come to her. But it didn't. "Arr...that's right; we're in Narnia again," she growled. She lunged for her sword and quickly stood up again, though it seemed Machia had no intentions of backing down, and Sabriel no intentions of not taking his challenge...

ooc: Great! Just in the middle of my second bowl of applesauce... :D

"Arrr... Get yer sword away from me matey, ye good fer nothin' ranger..." The next second Machia had teleported right next to Sabriel's sword arm and kicked the sword hand as hard as he could, knocking the sword loose... The next second he was standing in front of Fish again with his sword out at Sabriel's face again... "Gar, ye can go ahead an' say I cheated... But funnily enough... I don't care..." The First Mate growled... "Get... back..."

ooc: Give me a break! It's the first time the First Mate has ever cheated in a fight.... :p;):D

"Stop fighting now..." Elindil growled firmly, though her voice was still weak. "If you don't...I'll get my archers to shoot you, and I mean that."

Sabriel growled as she lunged towards Fish and took out another sword to strike Fish on the side. But unfortunately for Sabriel, Machia had taken it upon himself to knock the second sword out of her hand. "Oh.." Sabriel took a deep breath as she ducked Fish's sword and turned towards Machia. "I see now...you two are...," Sabriel began but before she finished her sentence Fish pulled her head back by the hair and had her sword at her neck.

ooc- Oh snap!

ic- Migle took her position next to Elindil with bow in hand, though she didn't want to shoot anybody.

ooc- BY the way, Grace I just noticed you changed your name back...haha. I didn't even realize it at first. :D

"Ye see, the thing with pirates is, we stick by our mates. I don't see any rangers jumpin' into rescue ye, save Elindil o'er there who's shouting at us to stop..." Fish growled. "But ye know what...?" Fish lowered her sword and released Sabriel's hair. "We also know when enough's enough. We won, ranger. Accept it."

"But to be fair on Sabiel there is two of you and only one of her." Elindil muttered, lowering her bow. "Now Sabiel & Migle, the pirates love fights, remember that."
