  • When I have time I'll send them to you I'm at school everyday now -sigh- so I hardly have any time to do anything any more like I used to :[
hello copperfox, that's wonderful that you & carol reached your parents house safely, :) i will give you a call around 5:00 PST if you don't beat me to it first, still praying for your dad :)
hello copperfox, how are you doing?? thank you for telling me about it i read the post :) have the best week ever
I was asking because recently I got a computer I have no use for. It works perfectly fine but it may not be what you need. It's about the same age as yours and it also has windows xp. it's an old pentium 4 (the CPU) and those are way past their time. I'll let you know if something comes up. What about a laptop. Would a laptop work for you?
Hahaha. Great! So the ring found its wearer after all! Sounds like LOTR!

How old is your computer? Do you know the specs like operating system, CPU, and memory?
That's nice. I hope everything goes well and the trip makes up for some of the bad news of late.

Say, do you still have your computer with no sound?
Do you know something I don't, or are you just trying to wind me up a bit? lol Or are you pointing out that most of the white witch's supporters perished, along with herself, during the Battle of Beruna? Don't forget, a small number did escape and fled into the wilderness. Indeed, even during Miraz's reign some of these, or their descendants, were still around in Narnia!
How are you keeping? I hope things have improved for you both regarding your health and other matters.
    All the best,
    Corin
Yes, I think that passage does refer to angels intermarrying with humans, though many theologians have historically rejected that interpretation.

I can't imagine how a daughter of Jadis could have survived the Deplorable Word and then come to Narnia, but I'm sure that lady had thought it through.

I did toy with the idea of Coriakin being the father; we know he did something bad, but it just felt too wrong. I like the idea of Tash being sleazy and venal, which fits what we see of Calormen. Tash represents a kind of lazy, carefree immorality, while Jadis stands for a more fanatical and active evil.
