    K Ima read it properly tomorrow. For English we have to do an RFU and I'm writing about strength of faith and resistance...like how the Jewish people did during the holocaust, how they still prayed and all.
    For my media connection im writing about the movie i saw in french class, the one i told you about.

    and for personal Im going to talk about how when my faith was changing I still clung on...something like that.

    Do you happen to know of any situation in the world regarding spiritual or cultural resistance? More spiritual though? Or some where some people some time clinging on to faith despite harsh times?

    I read up on it alittle. During the USSR, they had various religious churches that was legal to commit too. There was not just the orthodox. It was legal to be a muslim or even a buddhist during the USSR. It is correct that many of the leader in the USSR was atheists, including Stalin/post-stalin.

    I couldn't find that book anywhere. could I get the author's name or maybe the person it describes?

    I know many people whom lived in Russia during the soviet days (It's my nabouring country, thus there are many russians here). From what I've heard from them, no one had problems having opinions on religion or speaking it as clearly as they'd like. One of the Russians I know is Catholic and another is a protestant. I've never seen any reports whatsoever that the KGB controlled the church.

    If the site wouldn't jammed up so much I would have written a lot more :p And yes you are right...too many other things are taking over. I'm going to add a part of Queenie's past with the evil wizard. Because he is going to have a part in the evil plot as you told me ;)

    So if I really wanted to jump in and totally change the story, it really wouldn't matter at all, because it's happened so much before, and that's the point :D
