It was very very very clearly stated that Josiah and Melody were going to be married no later than the VERY next weekend after the one we had been playing on. One reason for this was that Josiah's parents couldn't afford to stay in New York forever waiting for the wedding, even with Uncle Brett packing them into his studio apartment.

I can understand you wanting to change the date so the wedding could still be depicted; but I don't think the other players are that interested in our characters. You make the call on this; but if we say that the wedding has already happened, then Josiah and Melody no longer have any physical barrier between them at all, and we could still make some flashback remarks about "how the wedding was."

I've just gotten on now, for a limited time. I'm about to check on I.O.W.
