For your own understanding, DO you understand what is bothering Josiah? It is NOT only about the "amount" of kissing he gets. It is about her NOT PAYING ATTENTION to what is said to her. He had VERY VERY VERY VERY clearly asked to be allowed to TASTE what it would be like to be kissed with ice cream--and for taste to happen, it would have to be a kiss on his mouth. Also, that was only asking for ONE more kiss, NOT for "all the time."

Josiah began this relationship willing to have waited a long time for ANY physical affection at all. But since Melody from HER side made it romantic much earlier, Josiah does not enjoy being jerked around with her yes, no, yes, no, yes, no, yes, no behavior. It is NOT that he expects to be making out all the time; but the repeated changing of her signals is hard on him.

Yes, a measly dinky little peck on the cheek...which right now has him thinking (though NOT saying out loud) "Thanks for nothing."

The one where Melody turns her back on Josiah and completely ignores his request for another kiss? Yes, I've replied to that.
