Sometimes, dear one, you are quick to answer posts; other times, for whatever reason, the wait is longer. So I did some stuff here on TDL in between. But thank you for notifying me. Perhaps we can move things fast enough that Melody will be back with Josiah before you have to get off.

Toru, the Japanese guy who is a classmate of both Melody and Josiah, is the boy who introduced Melody to Josiah. Because "Josiah" is an unusual name, Toru calls Josiah "G.I. Joe." When Melody and Josiah went out, Toru happened to see them heading for the Pizza Arcade. Having later seen Josiah walking home when it was not terribly late, Toru was worried that maybe Melody and Josiah had called it a night early because they didn't get on very well. So Toru has phoned Melody to find out if anything went wrong. He doesn't mean any harm, he's just nosy.
