  • My sister in New York, as a gift to me, arranged for "Sophia Renee" to be printed by an on-demand publisher. I can order copies, then sell them.
    Lol, you like it?
    Thanks :) :)

I just felt like calling you that way... instead of calling you Chamba, Maese, etc etc, like everyone does. I like being different ;)

    Where are you? College?
    Hola, Ginny!

Muy bien... gracias por agregarme en Facebook. Hay un concierto este 6 de Junio. Así que pronto tendré más fotos. Yay!
It would take months to discuss "Paradise Lost" as it deserves. But one thing is VERY important to understand: whoever says that Milton "really thought of Satan as the HERO of the story"--is one hundred percent WRONG!!!!!!!!! There are teachers who do say this, and they are fools. They miss the whole point! Milton had Satan try to CONVINCE HIMSELF that he was a hero--but this was to show how evil pride leads to dishonesty!
Similar vein to Milton--hard to match him closely! Have we ever discussed modern author Frank Peretti? I urge you to read his novels "The Oath" and "The Visitation."
For instance, in various places in Scripture, God is described as placing the stars in the sky in a way that sounds like He was putting lightbulbs in fixtures. This is poetic language, and WAS NOT INTENDED to be an exact lesson in astrophysics. But as an inference from it, people in the past found believable the idea that the night sky was really a kind of super-gigantic glass dome above us, with lights attached to the ceiling.
In medieval times people did still believe that the Sun orbited around the Earth; but contrary to widespread opinion, many people by this time already understood that the Earth was NOT flat. And don't speak of the "Biblical" view of the universe; the Bible didn't really set forth a detailed and rigid scheme of astronomy. Rather, men's INFERENCES from the Bible became rigid views about the cosmos.
lol ya veo :) Okay, voy a ver tus fotos... ya cargaste alguna?? :) Yo tengo todo un album mio :p para mostrarme al world!! lol

I've watched Amon Amarth once as a warm-up band for Dimmu-Borgir on Sentrum-Scene in Oslo in '07. Now I cannot remember what exactly they played. But I remember three songs, "Runes to my Memory", "Death in Fire" and "The Pursuit of Vikings" ... Those where the three songs that got me hocked on them, so that's why I especially remember those! They didn't play for very long though ^^

Heya. You have a great music taste. I've listened to Amon Amarth for over a year now, and they're one of my favorite groups. Nice pic of Mjolnir aswell ;)
Yeap, a fan who hasn't seen them perform live yet... I'm jealous of you having seen Therion! That band is one of my favourites! :)

Mmm, yeah, I can see where going to concerts would be a little problematic for you. For me, it's easier because I'm in Europe and bands do play a lot around here. It's usually not more than a two-hour travel for me to get there.
Just stopping by because I saw Amon Amarth appear on my screen and I smiled at it. :) Lovely to see that here... not many of the people here will recognise them, I think, and I surely wasn't expecting to see it!
