  • Hey I have a question. I'm writing a story about a 17 year old girl who is pregnant. It's looked down upon and I don't go into detail but I wasn't sure if it was OK to post it on here.
    Hi Inky,
thanks for your kind thought in your last post on the Fear thread. Praying for your mom's peace and protection, and her ability to sense Jesus' surrounding her with his love today.
    blessings, Linda
I'm afraid you're right. That's why I now direct more of my efforts toward personal mentoring of individuals who are teachable, such as TDL members Jack of Blades and CyberCat.
Yes, I did write that article before the film was finished, for I was already aware of Pullman's dirty work. Thanks for letting me know the article was looked at on the homepage. It bugs me that Pullman is allowed to get away with using the Nazi propaganda tactic: when your lies are exposed, just keep on repeating them AS IF they had not been exposed.
Thank you for the encouraging words. I was beginning to think that no one remembered my expose' of Pullman's lies.
Hey inkspot! I just read about your mom, and i can imagine that you must be really concerned about her. And it seems to go so fast. I hope you and your family can work out a solution about where your mother can live from now on. But mostly i hope that the medication will start to work, and that she will get better than this! I also hope that you'll be able to help her, even though it must be really hard for you too, seeing her like this. I'm praying for your mother, for you, and for the doctors who are treating her. We can always trust the Lord. And He'll carry us, even through the hard times! Hang on there!
You are so in my thoughts and prayers Inky. I hope the medications are going to work and do their job. Believe me...I know how you feel. The things she does and the things which could have happened or happen reminds me of my own mom. It is still scary and terrifying. Hold on love, just give it some time. Maybe the medications will work sooner than we know
Because of advance placement credits I basically entered as a sophomore (never had to be a freshman)... Then I studied at Wycliffe Bible Translators' Summer Institute for Linguistics taking the 1st year course (I was an English/linguistics major) and so was able to finish my BA in 2.5 years. When I graduated I attended Child Evangelism Fellowship's leadership training institute in the spring, and then my folks sent me to Taiwan to learn Mandarin before I started concurrent grad school programs at a seminary and at UCLA. So basically finishing early meant time to have some extra adventures before working on 2 masters.
    Hi Inky,
I was 20 when I got my bachelor's too! so we have something else in common besides Narnia :)
Inky, this thread needs to be moved to a different section. It is in Dawn Treader right now.
I have a new sonnet up, inspired by the declared spiritual need of one of our members.
