Thank you, Inky. The point of the Twilight series is that the author has made the monsters practically omnipotent, so that anything humans can do is virtually irrelevant, AND God is not allowed to do a thing either. There are a few "nice" vampires who don't kill humans, like "Alice" and "Carlisle" whom I mentioned; but the REAL appeal, the sinful pleasure for Twilight fans, is imagining having all that POWER--being above the law.
