  • SQUEE! You always know how to make my day brighter, and here's a run-by-snugging for you.

I responded to what you PM'd me about, and I /completely/ agree with you...
    HI Julie,
Thank you so much for the cool avatar. What a nice surprise to come home from a long drive (4.5 hours) --during which my daughter and I listened to Kenneth Brannagh reading The Magician's Nephew-- to find my little Reepicheep selected for Narnia Day honors!
    Blessings, Linda
Aww, yes, thanks for asking ^_^
His nose is perfectly fine now, the doctors still don't understand how he had no sequels or permanent damage in his head :)
and his arm is doing great, his wrist is working perfectly, as good as new. I'm just so happy he's playing again like before with his little buddies. ^_^
    How have you been? ^_^
I'm doing good.Doing shcool and stuff.it is really boring.I love TDL!!!! It is lots of fun.And what contest is that?
    Hi Julie,
thanks for asking about my mom. Although confusion and memory issues make life difficult for her, she has a sweet spirit in the midst of her disorientation. We are thankful she can still talk, walk, eat and still knows who we are. She also still remembers how to sing, and it is a joy for her to sit with my daughter and literally sing through the hymnal every day; so Eden is learning all these classic hymns and carols from grandma now, even ones I don't know all the words to!

Mom even is participating in the Easter choir that I am directing, along with my son Aaron singing bass-baritone. Eden is a rehearsal buddy for her Grandma; she sits next to Mom/g-ma in rehearsal to cue her where we are so she can sing along.
    blessings, Linda
Hi, thank you for your encouraging note! Wow LionCon was a huge project -- I hope all the work (and now tax forms) was worth it for you...(?) And I hope all the logistics/bills got covered okay. When we went last June, I did not know Narnia Fans even existed, but it sure has been great getting to know some of the folks on it since returning from LionCon. Thanks for the hugs!
Oooooh...good point, although we could look for things like the amount of detail included, how well organized it is, spelling/grammar, word choice, etc. I'm pretty comfortable judging essays, but if you think it would be better I can move it. I don't know that they'll post anything /too/ personal...
I figured I'd start the threads where they can post and just announce it in the Horn.

If you want changes or for me to delete what I've done, let me know. You're in charge and I'm at your service. ;)
Okie dokie, artichokie. For right now, I'll start two threads...one in the Writing Club and one in Brush of Unicorn. :)
Meh.../where/ should we put the contest threads? I might post an announcement in Queen Susan's Horn as well.
I've got some interviews set up for this next week, so keep praying, and thanks. :D. I'll go ahead and set up contest threads, and we'll close them on Narnia Day so we can decide the winners. I'm happy to co-judge with you.

Besides, may as well use the time while I have it. And I'm not the only one with tons on my plate... ;)
I'm more than happy to help. Without any other comments, I figure we should. Any thoughts to what "prizes" you're considering?
*snugs back* I love my Jules. *adds extra glitter to this profile*. Also, Ginny_Jillpole is right. You /are/ gorgeous and you know it. :)

    *Hugs*
    Ginny
