  • Well, I guess we'll see. I'll be praying for God to guide you in this.

I don't mind at all. I'm majoring in history (mainly modern history, possibly with an Chinese focus), and minoring in political science. I'm not sure what I want to do with that yet, but probably something somehow related to China. I love China too much, but I still have no idea where exactly God wants me. Of course, I still have three years to figure it out... ;)
It's because I've changed my settings so that only "friends and contacts" can VM me.

I'm glad a couple friends are moving into your area. It's always nice to have someone close by. And I'm also glad that you're ready to move on to new things! Being a youth activites director does sound cool, and I'm sure you'd do a great job. (I say so because from your posts, you seem like a caring, sensible person. And you have duffer-sense, which means that you can be awfully fun. :D) Anyway, I do hope you get a job that you enjoy.

Me? I've just finished my first year of college, which I absolutely loved. I made great friends, and I liked all my courses and professors a lot. But I'm also glad to be done with exams for the moment. I'm enjoying summer, being with my family again, and reading. :) (Are you living close to your family?) I think I learned a lot the past year, and I plan to learn a whole lot more over the summer. ;)
*squish* you may not remember me... but i remember youuu... >.>.... (did that sound creepy to you? cause it sounded a little weird to me.... 0.o...)... anyway, hi again!
Well, i look forward to talking to you more when you get on:)
Oh, I'm definitely both! I love the appendices in the books and the special features in the movies;)
Again, congratulations on graduating college! How very exciting! I suppose saying goodbye to old friends you've gained over the years is one of the hardest things, but that bright, new path before you! And all the new people you will meet! Any idea where that bright, new path leads yet? :)

Oh, and of course, having done away with papers and assignments and such... does this mean you'll be on somewhat more than once a year? ;)
No, I don't think we've ever met but i could tell we shared at least one passion; LOTR!!
Will you be able to be on more now?
We have two girls playing singing nuns this year. I have taught them how to sing "Non Nobis."
How I am, is besieged by my high blood pressure. It takes every resource to fight this: medication, exercise, diet and other lifestyle considerations. But if God is pleased to leave me on Earth for awhile yet, I look forward to a great season with the Colorado Renaissance Festival.
I apologize for my late reply, things, upon entering my second semester, became pretty hectic. But I'll be on break soon =) I'm curious...are you talking about Christendom down in Virginia? That was one school I looked at. Or maybe Thomas More College of Liberal Arts in New Hampshire...I looked at that one as well. I'm a Catholic too =).
Hillsdale is fantastic. Very rigorous..I do not pretend that any course here is easy in any sense, but I would not change my decision. I know what I am receiving here is of the highest caliber.
You're welcome:) And thanks for writing after all this time!! I understand that sometimes it's hard to find some time to surf the net... with school homework and all that stuff...
Haha! But of course she is right to attend to that thing called 'life'. As much as I wish she would get on, I have to admit that she has made the right choice.
That's right we did, didn't we? I rarely frequent the forums now. But I am well, I am done with my first semester of college at Hillsdale College, and am quite enjoying Christmas break. How are you doing?
Okay. ;) It's truly grievous that Derny doesn't get on often. =/ But I certainly enjoy all the things she did while she was still an active part of this forum. :D
LOL! :D I've read lots of posts and threads from the golden era. (Or at least, one of them...) And things were pretty great back then!
