  • OMG Rachel!!! *hugs hugs* I know....I've been uber busy with school and everything, but other than that pretty good.:)

How have you been? What's new?:D
    Hey Rachel!

Life goes great for me! :D:p You?

Yeah, it has! Hopefully summer will change that. :D

And I love Robin Hood (about your banner, avvie, and profile pic :p)! :D
He be 14 there. But 16 now. His voice has dropped and he's grown up a bit.
The group he's in has 5 guys. He's the youngest and there is another at 22, he's cute too. Check all of them out sometime. They're called Celtic Thunder.
There's no law against you asking questions!

I will sometimes accompany myself with an autoharp, and sometimes sing a capella. The a capella will sometimes be together with other singers. The songs used are theoretically supposed to be songs that people in the 16th century could have known, which means songs composed in the Renaissance OR earlier. But since the average customer will have NO musical education, we can get away with singing some songs as recent as the 19th century, provided they have the right "feel."

And yes, all of us performers will be in costumes. We are trying to provide the customers with the illusion that they have actually travelled back in time.
    TOTALLY!!!!!!

Yeah I've tried to read the Time quintet, but I didn't get very far ...

Tamora Pierce? She writes fantasy stuff.
:p Hahaha yes Narnia is uber important.

I love period dramas ... they are love. : )

I've never been a fan of L'Engle, which I find strange ... I dunno, it is kind of like how I'm not a Pierce fan, either.
    I don't think so ... :p

BUT I LOVE ROBIN HOOD! AND HP AND PHANTOM AND LOTR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HP is my favourite thing on Earth; Phantom is my third favourite musical; and LotR is just brill.
Hey Rachel! I haven't seen you around in awhile! How have things been? I'm pretty good. Happy it's finally summer! :)
Yes, I do sing: in English, in Latin, in Russian, and one song each in French and Yiddish.

If you live in Kansas, it would be physically possible for your family to come to MY festival! At least, if you also had other activities in Colorado to justify the trip. My festival is in a small town called Larkspur, south of Denver (beyond Castle Rock) on Interstate 25. It runs from June 13 through the first Sunday in August, weekends only.
Right now, much of my thought is fixed upon preparing for the Colorado Renaissance Festival in which I'll be performing.
Lady, will you be living on campus? I'll start praying for just the right room mate for you...
Chicago is huge but it is culturally very rich too. I love the museums along Lake Michigan...
    blessings,
    Linda, aka Benisse
