  • Thanks for the PM, and I'm sorry to hear that you're leaving. I wish you all the best wherever you go, and I will continue to pray for your brother and family.
Thanks so much for your kind greetings... I was really spoiled! My family made me breakfast and I had gifts and cards throughout the day with a dinner out in the evening. My mom took me to lunch today, too... But sorry no pie -- we all shared a Giant Cupcake
You mean, going to where Rocco is? I must remember to redouble my prayers against evil at that time.
Hoping things are tolerable for you today. At church, I succeeded in making palm-frond crosses! It's sort of like tying your shoes, if your shoes had wide, stiff shoestrings.
I've been trying to find the trailer, but alas it is no where to be found. I'll keep searching and if I turn up with anything, I'll be sure to send you a link. :)

The Master Sword is a character this time around? Interesting. :)
Have you seen the trailer for the New Zelda game that is coming out for the Wii? It's very different from the conventional/traditional Zelda we both know. :)
Money is not the most important thing when I travel, although you can’t do without it :) I think the most important thing is my desire. If I want something badly enough and I focus on it, somehow, the universe finds a way to give it to me. I view each trip as an inner and outer “pilgrimage”. I “call” to what I want. Because I am most drawn to exotic destinations, nature trips and adventure travel, that’s what I often get.

I draw up a list of places I want to visit each year – so far, I’m on track. I visualize the destination I want to visit, why I want to be there, what I will do when I get there – and only afterwards do I plan the logistics of how to get there. I’ve always been an independent solo traveller so I don’t use travel agencies and do a lot of research on my own - two to six months for each major destination, depends – a lot of readings and data-gathering by internet. I construct an itinerary detailing how to get to each place point by point, from airport to hostel to trailhead (although I always allow for the unexpected – in case I have the impulse to do something else along the way, modify or change my itineraries altogether). I join travel forums and interview people who have visited the destinations before. Financing is always the last step.
I'd surely love to meet you, Vanessa! :) I've already traveled alone in some remote corners of the world where people don't even speak English and in some really dangerous places - but I've never had any mishaps, so far, with God's help! I just ask my angels to walk with me every step of the way!
Thanks for your prayers for my darling tiggies! I've started my countdown. Gosh! I've 75 days left before I fly to Europe!!! I'll PM you the name of my hostel and the days I'll be there before I leave! :)
I'm too lazy to get the game started again!!! I've been playing my ps3 lately! :)

    CF: I'm panicking!!!!!! aaaaaahhhh!!!!!
Since you're an adult, no one should panic if I send you a Gug! <3

When I spoke to the cardiologist this morning, he seemed to make a big point of whether I had spoken already to any other specialist in the same field. I hadn't. So he talked about the advantages of ultrasound and CT scans to create a more exact picture of my heart function. He thinks that the report of scar tissue on my heart may have been someone's misinterpration of what the tomography showed.

I have agreed to the ultrasound, haven't made my mind up about the CT scan. It isn't that I'm not familiar with CT scans; my Mary had some during her cancer ordeal. But my statin prescription, and other measures to improve my blood chemistry, have barely had a chance to get started yet. I want to see what progress I can make by my own lifestyle efforts.
