  • I'm very familiar with "Focus." Many years ago, while my first wife Mary still was in this life, she and I got to tour the organization's headquarters. And I have heard many episodes of their radio-theater series "Adventures In Odyssey."
I live in the city of Aurora, Colorado, which borders Denver on the east and southeast. I don't know the population size of Aurora, but judging by its land area, I would say it has to be at least a hundred thousand people. We have great racial diversity here and in Denver; you can find any kind of restaurant people ever thought of.
That will vary from one individual restaurant to another. The Applebee's I was in was not so dark inside, and it was no more noisy than you should expect with as big of a crowd as they had.
There's a restaurant chain here in the States called Applebee's; for Veterans Day, they offered substantial price reductions on meals for current and former members of our armed forces. So I ate lunch at Applebee's, which was my big excursion of the day. Online, besides writing fiction, I chatted with a woman I would marry if I could, and she told me about celebrating the day with her grandfather who is a U.S. Army veteran.

When I say "would marry if I could," I don't mean Hannah's mother--because, although Hannah's mother _would_ make an excellent wife, _she_ is not interested. The other woman is at least one with whom I have managed a close friendship.
I was in Facebook chat with Hannah just last night. She seems well. I told her how I had passed my Veterans Day.
As you may have noticed, I made the time to write another complete "Alipang Havens" chapter. And I answered your e-mail.
