  • Hey, we haven't talked in forever, and thanks to Audrey I've become more accomplished on the phone, are you doing anything tomorrow morning/afternoon? :D :p
Okay, we'll keep Mr. Heron alive. Where do Summer and Evan move? Note that the states of Alaska, Hawaii, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico are taken away from the United States after the dictatorship starts.
And what do you think of Summer's father having been euthanized while Summer was in prison?
Now we're getting somewhere. Since the all-out dictatorship in America only gets started three or four years before the action of my new story begins, there will have been time before that for plenty to happen. What do you think of Summer and Evan having moved away from Virginia, following career opportunities, while America still was free?
    I think that's close enough.

My current inclination is for Summer and Evan to have done some prison time for their faith, which made it automatic for their children to be stolen. Once released, knowing Dan and Chilena to have a privileged position, Summer and Evan might appeal to them to help get their kids back. The solution might be for all concerned to move to Africa, which I depict as still having religious freedom.
Have you read any of Frank Peretti's novels about spiritual warfare? What I'm writing now is like those; I'm putting Alipang and Kim in the center of an evil situation that Frank Peretti could have imagined for heroes to have to endure.
Hey!You're finally back on here!:) How long were you gone anyways-two months?
Good to have you back.;) Great story update,by the way.
Of course what I'm writing now is a science fiction novel; it happens in about the year 2025. Homeschooling has been outlawed by then; but those who WERE homeschooled stand out as heroic holdouts for Jesus.
Yes, even though you never wrote Summer's story, I would very much like to bring Summer back in the sequel in a way conforming to how you would expect her to be in the future. So how about making up one or more children for Summer and Evan--AND, you tell me if you like the idea of the dictatorship having taken those children by force for brainwashing in a "Tolerance House." It would give Summer something to be fighting against.
I haven't heard from you for a long time, and have given up on ever seeing you write Summer's story. But I do ask one thing of you, really two things, no, five things, because I've got five questions to ask. They pertain to my proposed story of Alipang's future.

    (1) What is Evan's last name? (2) What are his career plans? (3) Does Summer marry him? (4) If no, were you expecting her to marry some guy she met in college or after? (5) If a future government were persecuting Christians, would Summer try to go unnoticed or would she openly defy the tyranny?
