Yes, the barbecue invitation is for the Sunday AFTER Labor Day, which has not happened yet even in my story. The Saturday of that weekend is to be the Assateague Island trip for the Havens and the Tisdales, and I will have things mended between Alipang and Kim by then.
Whether or not there's ever a romance there, I urge you to make Evan a good guy. We already have lots of jerks in Smoky Lake.
