Don't be frantic! No one's forcing you to do this, I just thought it might be fun for you. The words can be ANYTHING non-obscene, as long as it seems to you that there's a reasonable chance of being able to use each one several times in meaningful sentences.
The invitation stands to give me six words for a sestina. Just don't make all six of them rare species of insects.
Please look at Marketplace of Technique: I have posted a poem I wrote in a style that Orangejello introduced me to.
The ONLY way in this universe that I would EVER have said that a certain thing went poof, would be a typo somehow occurring as I meant to say it HADN'T gone poof. That much is confirmed by MY memory.
If you ever go to Manhattan as a FREE ADULT, perhaps you'll cross paths with my sister Ricki who lives on Broadway.
No, honest, I just mean that ANY writing, about ANYTHING, is good for your communication skills.
I don't mean you necessarily should write some kind of response to my sonnets, nor necessarily ANYTHING that has a connection with me. But you have a tolerant audience on TDL; why not use it for practice in writing? Writing about ANYTHING, just so you get practice which may be useful for future job-hunting and other purposes. Always assuming you have the online time available.
No one's stopping you from writing things. As I've been telling QueenAravis707, everything worth doing needs practice.
Well, I don't _know _of any Scottish or Irish "Rochas" either. But I never did claim to know every surname of the human race. If the bearer of the name lives in the Russian Federation, she might have ancestry in any of a score of their ethnic minorities, e.g. Tatars, Yakuts or Chuvashi.
I have never seen "Rocha" as a Russian name, but remember I said that the Russians do have "adopted" family names of outside origin.
Keep watching the Russian thread; I plan to provide more material there in the very near future.
Well it's kindof hard to tell with vampires, isn't it? Especially if it's a book, but I think, just because of her history and the time she was bitten, that she's probably white.
Hi Farah! I live in the US. I haven't been to England, would like to go there, too! How about Ireland -- have you been there? I'm 1/4 Irish, 1/4 Scotch and 1/2 Polish!
