LD, Nikki, AJ, Andy, Mitchie, Kay and Drew make up a band that is now one of the Hottest bands in America. Thought they do not always get along they are still friends…to a point.
LD and AJ butt heads constantly. As AJ strives to be in the lime light LD has a temper that flies and he lets her know what for more than once. LD’s little sister Kay never really got along with him either so eventually her and AJ…though very different find a good friend in each other. Nikki was LD’s good friend for a long time and is the lead singer of the band. She too clashes with AJ because though she does not want to be in the spot light she is because of her position with the band.
Andy left her family to join the band and now her parents wont even talk to her. she and LD were close friends ever since she joined and soon that friendship evolved into something more. Though they both said they loved each other Andy and LD had very different Views of exactly what love is. He kept on pushing and eventually Andy called it quits. She loved him…that much was true, but she wouldn’t compromise her values.
Ben is LD’s older brother and there is a ton of history that has made LD hate Ben no mater what he does. Four years Ben had no contact with his siblings (LD and Kay) and one day he showed up at a concert then at the after party. He claims to have changed but LD isn’t quick to swallow that one. AJ however is intrigued by Ben and falls head over faster that perhaps is healthy. He too falls for her, which his highly unusual for Ben, and in three short months proposes and she accepts.
During this time Kay and Drew become and Item and Mithie’s boyfriend, James, come to visit her.
After a concert AJ, Andy, Kay and LD decide to walk back to the hotel which turns out to be a fateful choice.
While walking LD is knocked unconscious and the three girls are abducted by a few people form Ben and LD’s past. The brothers then have to come together and work with the police to get the girls back before it is too late. LD and Ben go rouge and find the hide out and get the girls. In the process they are split up as LD goes to find Andy who was in a different room than the other two girls. He finds her and as they are making their escape he gets shot and dies in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. Ben comes back infuriated that they hurt the girls and killed his brother and goes to have his revenge but before he does AJ gives him an ultimatum. If he goes they will be done and if he stays she will marry him. He goes hoping she will forgive him. As he is about to kill on of the men he thinks of AJ and realizes he cant so he calls the police for help. This doesn’t sooth AJ’s resolve on the matter and she sends him away empty handed and alone. After this James leaves as well telling Mithcie he needs time to think things out…a break from the relationship. Mitchie is crushed but what can she do?
Now it is time for the funeral. AJ has called Ben and told him she needs six moths though she is more than willing to take him back right then and there. Keeno (the band manager and close friend) helps the girls as best he can. Andy is crushed because she lost her only love. Kay is hurt over the loss of her brother and Mitchie is in her own little world.
That brings us to the lobby of the hotel as they are headed out to the funeral.
