Thank you so much! We didn't really do much comparing between the Mosaic Law and the Code, our prof merely pointed out some similarities (and refered to his theory that the Law was based on the Code. Interesting man, but I get tired of putting up with him and his theories sometimes.). So this much of this was freshly interesting interesting. (you know, we ought to trade professors sometime. that would be interesting. )

There was some pretty helpful things in your post, especially the "eye for an eye" bit. Since I'm writing about the meaning of justice, and the different classes of anicent Babylon, I already had some idea of that (I would hope so!). But you put it into words clearly than I have done.

Yeah, well, my draft didn't go all too well. I don't like B's. But then, it did clash with a philosophy paper I had to write, so now that I'm more free, I do hope the final version of my paper would be more satisfying. (it happens to be due tomorrow. perhaps I shouldn't be wasting me youth here. )

And what interesting discussions did you have? Fresh thoughts might give me some new ideas about my paper.

Thank you for sharing the paper with me! I really enjoyed reading it, and I especially liked the last two paragraphs, which gave the paper more depth than a mere comparison. I wonder how well my professor would take something like that? I've been trying to work some deeper thoughts into my paper of Hammurabi's Code, it's not that easy.
