Edmund ran with Loretta, back to the camp Jadis had set up for him and his family.
by the time Snowflake reached the camp, Susan and Lucy had both grown vary tired for it had been a long day and the sun was just about to set....when the girls noticed Snowflake enter the camp, both of they're eyes lit up for the camp had a sort of homing atmosphere for the tents weren't grey and dark looking like ones of Jadis's earlier camps when she were still eveil, but they were cheerier colors and Susan and Lucy both found that they were anxious to get near the fire for it had also grown vary old outside as Narnia was just on the verge of coming into it's winter season. "it's lovely!" Lucy exclaimed as Susan gently slid of Snowflakes back, helping Lucy do the same. after Susan had set Lucy down on the ground she looked up at Snowflake her brown eyes seeming to glimmer within the fires light, "Snowflake Dear would you mind taking Lucy to the camp fire to get warm and make sure she eats some dinner? I'm not really hunger so I'm just going to take a walk around the camp or something while you and the others have your dinner....I hope you don't mind.... if any of the others wonder where I am just tell them I wasn't hungery and decided to take a walk...." she said hideing the sadness deep in her heart and replaceing it with fake cheer for deep inside for some reason she found that the camp setting Jadis had set up for them, caused her to remember the first time she and her sibleings first entered Aslans camp which sent a small pain through her heart for she new present time was nothing like when she and her sibleings first entered Aslans camp....for one thing Aslan wasn't there and even though she had been told he was always with her in spirit she couldn't feel him with her which caused her to dout if that were really true or not......she new she shouldn't dout it but everything somhow seemd so much harder now that she and her family were out somewhere in Narnia in the middle of nowhere.....for atleast when Aslan had been leading them even when he left, she new everything would turn out alright becuase of the mere fact that Aslan was leading the party...now she had no idea where they were going or where they would end up after Jadis had settled things with her father.....Susan felt herself slowly sinking back into the lost child instead of the gentle Queen of Narnia....she began to wonder if Aslan may have gotten angry with her and the others for some reason and decided not to lead them anymore.....so many qiustions were running through her mind..she desperately wished for ansheres.....thats why she was missing dinner and taking a walk instead...for her mind was too troubled to eat.....
Lucy looked up at her older sister with concern in her eyes for she could tell even with Susan's fake mask of cheer on that something was bothering her....."are you sure Susan? you need to eat as well you know to keep yourself healthy...atleast thats what your always telling me whenever I try to get out of having dinner"
hearing Lucy's vioce Susan snapped out of her reverie and looked down at her sister, a small smile making it's way across her face, "maybe I'll join you and the others later Lu....i'm just not really all that hungery right now....be good for Snowflake, Peter and the others while I'm gone ok?" with that, bending down slightly Susan kissed Lucy on the head giving her a warm sisterly hug before she turned and wlked off, dissapearing within the camp.
Lucy looked on after Susan as she watched walk off farther into the camp, she sighed knowing something wasn't right, and looked up at Snowflake, "something is bothering her..Susan almost never misses dinner unless shes upset about something...." she said sadly.
