A New Challenge

giving a satisfied smile Susan led Peter over to Loretta and Grace, "well go ahead Peter...from now on I'm going to be showing you just how hard it is to be a girl.." she grinned.

Grace followed Loretta closesly while Lucy and Edmund made no hesitations in following there older brother.
"Gee he sure he grounchy today..." Ed whispered to Loretta, Grace and Lucy when Peter wasn't looking.
Susan glared at him crossing her arms in a huff, "oh you just think your all that...but just you wait Peter Pevensie one day I'll show you that being a girl isn't as easy as it looks..." she said walking beside him, "....where do you soppose we'll find shelter anyhow?"

Loretta rolled her eyes. "We should try the wood, there's bound to find some shealter there..." she said addressing the problem.

Susan glared at him, "just you wait I'll find a way to get you back...." she turned to Loretta, "the woods sounds like a good place for shelter"
 
Peter patted Su on the shoulder. "There are just some things people are good at...in your case, keeping order, not getting revenge." he smirked.

"I thought you two wanted to get going not sit around and go BLAH!" Loretta exclaimed.

"Oh yes, Ed is the one to ask Su...the younger brother." Peter laughed. "Good luck with that, he ALWAYS ends up messing up, or Loretta gets him." He smiled slyly.

"Shall we?" She smirked. "Catch ya later, we're leaving!" She started into the woods without Peter or Su taking notice. "We won't go too far, just enough to give 'em a heart attack." She smiled slyly, "Your not the only one who's good at pranks you know."

Edmund turned his smile into a glare, "hey!! whats that sopposed to mean!? well atleast I was brave enough to fight in the battle of Beruna I even broke the Witches wand! so there! I'm notas pathetic as you may think..." he pouted.

"Yup, and you were just as smart enough to be stabbed by her too! Lets just do this prank before they stop arguing." she rolled her eyes and headed in the woods. "coming Lu?"

"oh and you think you could be pull any better pranks? like the time when you fell off our roof back in England when you were trying to play that Chimmney prank you and Ed came up with....." Susan retorted holding her glare.




"hey! do you know how hard it is to fight a witch!?" Edmund scolwed but followed her into the woods.
"oh yes I'm ready any time you are....me and Grace have been having an awful bit of fun watching you two argue though..." Lucy grinned as she and Grace followed Loretta into the forest.

"Yes mum!" Peter said sarucastically. "Oh Su, that was part of the prank...remember how you DID end up getting ashes all over yourself because in the process of catching me, Ed dropped them on you, what we WANTED to happen." he smirked.

Loretta scowled. "You'd be suprised...EDMUND!" she exclaimed. "I'll have you know I was in the dungeoun the same time you were! And the fact that I escaped....ON MY OWN! I also fought her several times, if you remember the time she almost killed Peter on the top of the cliff, the time she tried to capture Lucy, the time she tried to kill Aslan a second time, the time she tried to kill YOU, the time she tried to kill Stalker...need I go on?" Loretta looked at him smirking as she walked on.

"yeah despite the fact that you broke your leg becuase I wasn't strong enough to catch you, your prank still worked out right?" she retorted with a smirk of her own, "oh and how about the time we went on that boat ride? you and Ed ended up falling in the water when your gole was to push me and Lu in" she grinned greefully.



"okay! okay! I get the pint you needn't go on......" Edmund grumbled walking behind her, "but you wern't always the hero remember that time I actually managed to save you when you were too weak to fight in the battle?" he would have gone on but truth be told he really couldn't think of many times when he ended up being the Hero though he darn't let Loretta know..

"THAT was an accident...not like you and Lu's trick worked in putting vitamins in our food!" Peter exclaimed.

Loretta's voice softened. "I know, I don't always want to be the hero...you've saved me and your sisters pleanty of times." she nodded solemly. "But that doesn't mean I can't rub the times I HAVE been the hero in your face!" she smiled gleefully sticking her tounge out at him.

"Oh yeah, and Lu came down and camped with us! She beleived you too! And then not to mention that after that, you too were afraid of the dark. What about that time I told you Mr. Jenkins was a werewolf and you believed me and everytime you passed his house you ran as fast as you could, then when mum invited him to dinner on a full moon you screamed when you say his beard and told mum he was gonna eatcha!" Peter reminded SU.

"are not!" Edmund retored, falling to the ground finding himself pinned by Loretta, "well atleast I'm prettier then you!" he joked, moving quickly and reversu her tackle to where she was the one who was pinned, "see I'm even getting better at pinning then you are" he stuck out his toung.


"well what do you exspect I was only a young child when you told me MR. Jenkins was a wherewolf! and it was an afully beastly thing to do telling me that right after I had watched that scary movie on Saterday night!" Susan defended, "and what about that time when you were too afraid to camp outside becuase I told you there were grass monsters who would come out at night and stab you with a pitch fork to kill you so they can eat you!"
