A Royally Mixed Future

Clarissa sighed. She just needed time to think, time to sort out that, yes, there was a world like this, animals could talk, and her fiance and his siblings had been royalty here. She was beginning to get a headache and slowly began to massage her temples.

Ooc: Love drama... so much fun to write!

Caspian looked around the group, and noticed that there seemed to be a strain among them. "If you would like, I could show you to your rooms and you could relax after your journey... I'm sure this has been quite difficult for many of you," he said, looking around at the new faces. "After that, we can be properly introduced and perhaps sit down for a meal and planning," he said, looking at Peter for the last part.

"Dear, I promise you that you will get all answers in time. You will know the whole story and when you hear it, you will realize why I could not tell you anything. Do you promise me to wait for the answers as they come? Our dear friend Caspian here will begin telling you all some of the tale soon."

'Well... I trust you. I'm just a little confused. But I'll wait,' she said. Then she added, 'well, as long as I get some answers, of course.'

(ooc I know right! lol Drama = funna! lol )

"Sounds good," Peter said, concerned about Clarissa's head. He wanted to comfort her, but felt it was not the time and place.

"We should probably find armory fit to our abilities," Lucy said, "I feel we'll also need to fit in some training as well," she looked at Nick, "for protection against the enemy," she explained.

"Thanks," said Edmund. "I would love to change into Narnian clothes if I may. These English clothes are too stiff. And dinner will be great."

Turning again to Rebecca:

"Dear, think of this as a great vacation, all expenses paid for, of course, and when they show you to your room, you may wear the most beautiful clothes you have ever seen. And the meal here will be hundreds of times better than anything we could get in London, you'll see."

do you still not have someone to play Susan's husband?
Well, that was being played by Josie, who was also Susan, so you should ask her if you want the part.

'I can't go on a vacation right now! I still have my job, and the kids at the orphanage to think about,' she said. 'Can't you just take me back home? This is too confusing,' she said with a sigh.

OOC: I think Josie is playing both Susan and her husband. She would not mind if you want to play him. Send her a PM if you want.

Ooc: Yay!!

Clarissa nodded. "Please, rooms sound wonderful," she said knowing that once she had time to think, away from everything, she would finally get her head on straight. Normally, something like this would have her ecstatic... but things had piled up too much for her to bear.

Caspian nodded. "Very well," he said, and turned toward the door. He stuck his head out and called for some assistance. Shortly, a few female dwarves, and various other creatures had assembled before him. "Are the rooms ready?" he asked them, receiving nods of assurance. "Can you please escort their majesties and their guests to the nicest rooms prepared?" he asked them. The creatures curtsied or bowed and then went into the Throne Room to take everyone to their rooms.

(ooc even im getting confused as to which character im doing, so im gonna take your color coded thing and use it with Peter and Lucy)

"Very good," Peter said as he entered his room. He thought he would be sharing a room with Clarissa, then remembered that propiety was a virtue.

Lucy was thrilled at her room. It was across from Peter's and next to Nick's.

Rebecca was led to a room closer to the other girls' rooms. Hers was nice and roomy, with lots of windows facing West, so she could watch the sunsets at night. It was lovely, but she couldn't help but feel a little worried about what was going on and how they would get back. Obviously, if they had rooms, they were going to stay for a while.

Sarah Beth
Sarah was excited. She finally got her own room! And it was much bigger than the one at home! The walls also happened to be her favorite color, a deep blue. She loved being a princess!

Ooc: Lol! Yeah, the color thing helps me too... and I like Peter's post!! Oh! Idea... I'll comment on your page...

Clarissa was lead to the room right next to Peter's by a small dwarf. She smiled and thanked the dwarf and then turned to look at the room as the dwarf left. The walls were a sea-green blue and the bed was large and comfortable looking. Clarissa sat down on it, confirming the softness of the bed. Then, she noticed the tall windows on her left. She walked toward them and noticed a handle on them. Turning it, she found that the windows were actually doors, and they led to a small balcony. She walked out, and a cool breeze hit her. She went to the rail and leaned against it, looking out at the beautiful view. This was just what she needed.

OOC: Does this mean Nick is "the enemy?" Or "men are the enemy?" What did she explain?:confused::confused::confused:.

IC:

Before Rebecca was shown her room, which was next to Edmund's he told her:
"I know you are worried, Rebecca, but I assure you that everything will turn out aright," he said beginning to use words he used only in Narnia. "Please get ready. I would love to see you were some of those lovely dresses in that room. If you need help, just call. Someone will be sent to attend to you." And he gave her a kiss on the cheek before turning to his room.

(ooc oh no no, just that nick and the others will need to train for when the enemy comes. lol)

OOC: Now that they are in their rooms, have fun with that. Try the clothes, take a bath, look at the fine linens in your room. Heck you are in a Royal Castle!! Make your characters forget for a moment everything else.:D:D

Edmund went into his room and immediately began to take off his stiff woolen jacket and vest and feeling the relief as those heavy and uncomfortable clothes began to come off. He noticed that someone had piled up some nice silken shirts and trousers, along with fine soft leader hunting vests, elegant and comfortable boots and many other clothes. He was loving every minute of it. He often longed to wear Narnian clothes in London but he knew that was impossible. Here, he was ready to be a king again.

Before jumping in the bathtub, he saw resting on his bed a sword. The handle was simple but elegant, with the figure of a lion at the hilt and two tiny sapphires encrusted where the lion's eyes were.

He pulled the sword out took a couple of strokes in the air.

"I am back," He said with a smile.

He then put the sword back in its sheath and closed his eyes and said a small prayer:

"Thank you Aslan. I will do the task for which you have brought me back. Brought us back."

Ooc: They were all lead to the rooms that they will be staying in, and they're still in Caspian's palace... just relaxing.

Clarissa soon went back into the room and began to look around more. It was then that she opened up a wardrobe, revealing a variety of dresses. She smiled as she ran her hands along the fabric, feeling its smooth and comforting texture. She drew out one that was her favorite shade of green and held it up. It looked like it would fit her nicely. She placed it gently on her bed and then walked into the little bathroom that was to one side of her bed. She was pleased to see a bath already prepared. Grinning, she sunk into the hot water and began unravelling the mysteries of the day.

"Edmund got into the tub and the water's temperature was perfect, as always was in Narnia. In London, he could never get his bath water at the right temperature, no matter what he did. He closed his eyes and his old adventures in Narnia began to flood his mind.

Susan walked into her room and opened up the windows, throwing back the velvet curtains. She had this feeling of bliss inside of her, knowing she was back in Narnia. She scanned the area outside of her room and sighed happily.

Will was still relatively quiet, watching his wife flit around the room with happiness. "So, when exactly were you going to tell me of this place?" He said confused.
"Well, I didnt really think it mattered. You wouldnt have believed me if I told you anyway right?" she said with a smirk.
"Well, yes...I guess that is true." He said sheepishly. "And that Caspain person, why does he look at you the way he does?"
Susan had been wanting that question to stay away. "Oh nothing, it was just the last time we were here thats all. Nothing at all." She said as she scurried away to the large armoir, opening it and looking through the dresses inside.
"I'm sure it was nothing..." Will rolled his eyes.
Susan turned around "Are you kidding me with this Will? Seriously?"
"Well, no! Doesnt he realize that your married now?"
"Will! We didnt have the greatest good-bye and I havent seen him since I was 14! Give the guy a break!" She huffed. "Its not like you to act this way, your probably just tired or hungry. Go take a warm bath and I will talk about this later." She pecked her husbands cheek and walked out the door hoping to find Rebecca.
