After Return of the King

"Come on Frodo." Kasey said.

Arla followed among the trees.

Merry-

Seeing his friends enter the clearing, Merry waved to them,

"My friends! I am quite glad you are here."

He looked down at Eastà with a twinkling in his eyes,

"I believe Eastà and I have some news to tell you."

Frodo-

Frodo smiled, happy to see that his friend no longer looked gloomy and suspisious of the outsiders. He now turned his head to the side a bit,

"And what may this 'news' be, Merry?"

He waited anxiously to hear his friend's reply, presuming it was to be good news judging by the look on Merry's face.

Erthà pick up her daughter.
" Yes Merry tell them," She told him with a huge smile on her face.

Merry-

Merry smiled michevously, enjoying keeping his friends in suspence for a bit,

"My friends... I suppose I should not keep you waiting any longer..."

Frodo-

Frodo interupted with a laugh,

"No I should suppose not, Merry."

Merry-

Merry took a deep breath, turning to look at each of his friend's awaiting faces,

"This news brings great joy to my heart.. and I hope it will to yours all as well."

He paused,

"My dear little friend Eastà... has now become more than a friend.. a relative of sorts... or I should say she is now a very daughter of my own."

He waited to see their reactions, he knew he was being a bit vague and that they would be yearning for details any moment.
