However I do find it amusing that this thread seems to be degrading into dufferness when it isn't even a dufferland thread.... Well Hyper, you wanted to learn about us, but since you won't come to us....

Yellow tomatoes. The kind that freak my little brother out. Yellow tomatoes also can confuse sheep, but only the black sheep. White ones are confused already.

You're welcome. But just to sum it up in case you were confused:

The point of the analogy was NOT that you needed to be our servant, but that you can't expect to just show up and instantly be one of the group. It takes time to get to know people. In the baseball paradigm, helping out after games is just a way to do so. ;)

I know you've been a member for a while. What I meant was that if you start duffering, it will take a while before you're really one of the group, not because we're exclusive, but because it usually takes a while to get initiated into anything worth being a part of. :D

Ok, since hyper is only non-duffer-teen, it's probably ok to not see the analogy. I think it would best to throw and invisibility cloak over the insane asylum building whenever he passes by Dufferland least he blunders in. I mean, hearing a trumpet blowing is scary for most of the patients.
 
I have a confession to break. It turns out for some time I suffered multiple personality disorder and posted many times in succession, in the progress of having entire discussions or arguments with myself though this site some years ago. I did not come to this realization until recently when looking through my older post history and bringing it up to my medical counselor. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

It's actually called DID now as in "DID I just wrote that or was it DID? Did DID make me di.. I mean.. do it? If you DID do it more than once, it could be DID who did it, all of them together. Either that or you're a certified Duffer!

Becoming a duffer is not something official you become on here, but you really start acting dufferish (Crazy, weird, awesome) You'll notice for yourself who the real duffers are xD (They kind of drive me crazy)
 
Steps! Steps! The answer is st... Nobody has any clue what I'm talking about, do they? That what happens when I go through and read all the old posts, I feel like responding to something but then think 'Oh, it's over a year old...'

And according to the dictionary, the word Duffer means "a person inexperienced at something, particularly golf." So, duffers, how are you at golf?
 
Um...I chase the little ball-thing...and it's fun sticking my club into the fake waterfall....
