again. It is no new thing among them. *To LM* Friend Ranger, you must hold your peace also. If you will not take the stand and be questioned, your place is not here in the Great Hall.
So far the evidence has weighed heavily against our dear friend Apolo. We know and understand that he was awake and aware of his surroundings, conveniently meandered his way into the Rangers' camp, willingly agreed to a duel as properly offered by the former Leader of the Rangers, had his wrist cut (clearly not out of an act of sport - dueling and fencing are not the same, as we have already established), took it upon himself to use mystical powers to transport himself behind his opponent and conveniently shoved his blade into her back, into her spine.
Realizing he made a serious boo-boo, he reacted and sought to mend it, to no avail as we have understood through later unfortunate transpirations.
And for the record, I declare that everyone is well aware of my feelings in this case...after all, we have called this trial. Nobody who has entered this trial (save Elf, Prince and Leo) has come without some sort of feeling either for or against the respondent. As the Lord High Steward, I have the right to speak my thought in discussion with other law lords. In the end, I will not be making a judgment against him. The law lords have been appointed to do that. And the lords come from every sector of this world, for the sake of a fair trial and fair proceedings.
Let us hope, my lords and members of this Court, that our hope for tomorrow will be brighter, and that far more fruitful will be this trial's proceedings. What awaits Apolo none can tell, save the law lords.
NOTE: Tomorrow, the law lords must decide and agree to end the trial if and when they feel they've received enough evidence. They must then come and speak with me. They will then be able to cast a vote on this thread through a single post. If you believe he should be brought to justice, you will type "GUILTY" (ten thingy ). If you believe he should receive mercy, you will type "NOT GUILTY." Each of you will then be able to share your reasons as to why you felt he was either guilty or not guilty.
If the majority rules that he is guilty, a discussion must then take place as to what his punishment will be. This can range from a sentence as light as, say, banishing him from the Pirates thread for a while, or can even go as far as execution, depending on what you, the law lords, arrange.
