Don't worry (I have church in the late morning also)! If you are able to make it on later tomorrow evening (which I hope), you may then cast your vote. If not, then do as you must, my friend. :)

(emphasis added) THIS IS OUT OF CHARACTER! With all due respect, however little that may be (ok, that was IC, but now I am back out) you CAN NOT take it as far as death. Now, I don't agree with this whole trial thing because unfair actions have been taken on both sides since we first started fighting. But you CAN NOT force someone to stop playing. It isn't right. Whoever wants to play should be allowed. And don't tell me that Apolo can come back as a different character. No, that's stupid because we all know him as Apolo, our ship's cook, and that is who he will always be. In fact, I can guarentee you that if you sentence Apolo to death for this, it will be overlooked and we will pretend that none of this ever happened. At the very least, I will.

You've gone way off on a tangent that should never have been taken. I advise you to reread what I posted very carefully. If you will take good notice, I display various alternatives as to the sentencing. More than likely death will not be the outcome. Just relax. Take deep breaths. Inhale...exhale. :p

The Court shall resume at 2:00pm PST (5:00pm EST).

no, I didn't misunderstand you. Death is not just "not likely" it is "IMPOSSIBLE". The ONLY way that death is a possibility is if Apolo says that he no longer wishes to play the game. Which is the ONLY way any of us die, Elindil and LM included. She didn't have to die, as I stated somewhere else in one of the forums. I'll try to find my exact post and edit it in here. You see, the wonderful thing about RPGs is that we are as invincible as if we had just drank Unicorn's blood (aka- we can come within an inch of death but still remain alive.), because otherwise everyone would be dead by now. Therefore, people who are not in positions of REAL authority (mod, admin), can not decide who lives or who dies. Honestly, I don't think anyone should be able to punish people outside of their own clan. (the Rangers punish rangers how they see fit and the pirates should punish pirates how they see fit). Oh, and IF Apolo is sentenced, remember that the pirates will probably be headed out to sea again shortly after the trial and Apolo WILL be coming with us. Savvy?

(Ooc:I assume, that since people who aren't judges are talking and Curumo isn't jumping on them, that this is discussion, and all can speak, so here I go)

Ye know, I do agree with Fishwwjdfrog that it really isn't possible for death to be the punishment for Apolo unless he wants it to be. We have established that Elendil died because she wanted to die (This conclusion comes from the fact that SHE typed her own death and agreed to it, Not LM, not Apolo, HER.) so I hardly think that a breach of honor and courtesy that is backstabbing should result in death. Hardly showing the mercy of Aslan there.

Also, I hate to be argumentative, but, unless our Captain agrees to ban Apolo from the pirate threads, you really have no authority over that. We don't recognize you as our leaders or allies unless you are the Knights (Or beasts I guess). You might keep that in mind.

Also, what is this Curumo?

Not his place to think? And what else do ye expect him to do?
Judge how differently ye speak to yer own foul kind as opposed to the pirates, who are not behavin' any worse than him. I agree with ye on one point. If it's not related to the trial, it should'nt be in here.
Also, wizard, ye've never seen us pirate's really out of control, and if ye did, it wouldn't happen again, because ye'd never see anything again. Have a nice day, and from now on, I'm keepin out of this thread till the trial. I've no more to say.

for the record, I am here right now, but I will only be able to stay for a half hour tops (dinner). I might be able to come back after again, though.

I'm allowed to be here. I will not be excluded by a pirate that has done many bad deeds :rolleyes:
