ps But you know, how ever few friends I have, that's still at least three more than you got. jk jk jk...sorry Smog...I couldn't resist, you set yourself up for that one. :D

or the fact that in NZ Catholic priests have a bad reputation for being pedofiles(sp?). Theres one in the news for it every other week. all of them Catholic(sp?). Always little boys too. Never little girls. Its sick and Disturbing.

*a bright british accent* good sir, lsipher. i do remember that now. it's like an old memory: refreshed at pressent. which is indeed what it is. and also to you, sir, Monkeh. although that may be true(much of which is, if i am not mistaken), still we must be respectful. yes. respect for others earns their respect for you. but i do not disagree with you in your statement. though i do not understand how that would have to... oh. i see now. mind not. you shant be disrespected with this, shall you, Monkeh? i mean, with what i have said?

I gotta agee with you there. It happened in my diocese when I was R.C. *shudders* Thankfully, no one I know was invovled, besides the priest, that is.
BTW, is your avie from Equilibrium?

D.R. - Forgiveness and mercy are necessary, yes; and politeness is a curtesy; but respect has to be earned.
I do not mean, by that, that we are to disreguard the fifth commandment, but that applies to people that have God given authority over us.
But no worries, I know what you meant. :)

i just meant that we still have to respect ppl. and being respectful(respecting others) and respectable(being worthy of others respect) is.... oh.. not i've forgotten what i was to say. when being respectful, you earn your respectablility. while being respectable, you can be respected. oh!!!! i sure do hope that you do know what i mean, lou.

hey, Zardeenah, are you ok that you have a woman as a minister? that being against the teachings of the Bible? have there ever been and contrivercies at your church about it? or like, what?

i am ok with it, because im protestant and we aren't very strict. although on a personal note, i prefer micheal

W()()T! I'm a DS (Deacon's son) and my best friend is an ES (Elder's son).

I do have a problem with women pastors, and think that more Protestant churches should actually enforce church discipline.........But let's talk about that in the Debating/Discussing Religions thread, ok?

Um...Hm...well, I'm a tk: theologen's kid. At least, my dad studies a lot (and knows a lot, if I do say it myself). He reads a lot of Calvin!

My dad has been a pastor, and a missionary, but right now he just teaches martial arts, lol. I'm not sure if that makes me a PK or not, but I think once a PK always a PK, so I voted yes.

I used to be an alter-boy :p long time ago. lol does that count?

j/k ;)

...you're not alone Merc...
