Aslan's How

The girl slowly came to, but all the while murmmered things about Arkenland and the Tisroc. Was she affiliated with him? or was she sorry she ever was near him? This was a story just waiting to be told, once she was fully concious.

Sitting herself next to the prostrate form of the girl on the floor Rosy rummaged in her bag and pulled a small faux crystal vial into the light and uncorked it. She tipped alittle of the warming liquid into the girls mouth and waited for the reaction.

Saying to no one in particluar.." this tonic is made of a grain found only on the Western end of Doorn. It must be steeped in honey for 40days and then mixed with water and simmered over a low fire for 3 hours. It has 'refreshing' qualities, but be careful not to take too much!"
She hoped that the home made liquere would have the same effect as the natural poultice she'd hoped to make.

Thanatos was completey surprised when someone just came out of the woods, just like that. "I can help....i have seen many injuries like this and much worse," Thanatos said confindent. Chronos had given Thanatos many stones, that held wild powers. But they were of white magic. Thanatos reach in her bag and pulled out a small Jade stone. "Here this will help," She said placing it on her wound, "This has little power left so it wont fully heal it. But it should stop the bleeding." Thanatos said

Timelessness, emptyness, that was the only way to describe what Samuel felt when in the wood between the worlds. He hd jumped through many of the pools always hoping that it would be the one that would take him to Narnia. But alas after many days or weeks or months. He had still not found that elusive pool, as he sat down next to one of the identical trees next to an identical pool he slowly began to sing. He sung of Aslan and of the wonders of Narnia, of Talking animals and walking trees. Giants and Centaurs, Heroes and villains. But most of all he sang of a King across a sea and the wonderous paradise found therin. As Samuel decided that all hope was lost and he would never find that singular pool he made up his mind to try once more. As he looked for a pool he heard a voice in his mind stong and kingly, yet passionate and kind. "For there is the Utter East." He felt a hot breath on the back of his neck as he gathered his courage and jumped.

The trip through the pool was almost instantaeneous but he could feel the cold touch of the water upon his skin, but wondered as if it was the first time he had done this. Why he did not get wet. It was a mystery better left unsolved in his mind.

Samuel landed with a loud thump.

Gray stood up suddenly, and tried to shake the strange tugging sensation that was pulling her up from the fire and her companions. Something had changed in the air around them – and for a moment the night seemed odd and mysterious.

"I think I heard something," she said "Does someone else draw near?"

"Something has happened, something we can't control..." Hoaleal stated plainly. The tone in his voice never gave way whether this something was something good, or something not so good. He continued to wait and listen.

Samuel shook himself off as he came to, it seemed that he had landed a little to hard. Well there were worse things than being covered with snow......SNOW!!!!! He was in Narnia, he looked around frantically for the lampost and ran right into it. As he rubbed his head, he noticed a fire a little ways off. He strapped on his Sword and backpack and started off towards the light. As he exited the forest surrounding the glade he saw 4 people sitting around the fire staring at him. he raised his hand in greeting and began. "Hello I am The Sojourner."

"Much to explain, yet time does not stop for any man. I will share your fire, but my story shall stay mine for now." Samuel stared around the fire, wishing he could share the full tale with those around him. But it was not yet time.

"Ahahaha, time can stop. If you know the right people. As I have met in my path. But those stories, like yours so you say, are for another day." Thanatos said with a laugh.

The Injured girl soon sat up thanks to the bandage and strange stone. She remained quiet though and had a forlorn look upon her face. She just listened quietly, calmly, and strange in some times. There were still questions about her, but would sh ever answer?

Hoaleal knew many people at the fire had something to hide, and he was not sure how to get a story out of them. But maybe a story is not what is needed, he thought. He saw the sun rise above the horizon, noticing that not a part of the sun was hidden anymore.

"Well, I guess there's no way for us to sleep now, lets gather some breakfast and feed the fire."

The old man got up and started towards the forest, going to get some more firewood. He was hoping someone from the party would follow him, perhaps he can get a story if it was just him.

Thanatos notcied that the Tarkheena girl had awoke. "How are you feeling?" she asked to the girl. "Now if you want anything to eat or drink, just say so," Thanatos said with a smile.

"no thank you," the girl replied. "I am a tarkheena, and as one, I have told myself not to take charity" The girl laid herself down and drifted off to sleep.

What happened while I was gone?!

"Well, we shall offer no more, fair Tarkheena." Thilayn said to the still form. She, herself, was feeling rather tired at the moment, having spent an entire night with exciting interludes of newcomers arriving in various dramatic ways. She saw the old man struggle to get up. Instinctively, abandoning her cold demeanor, Thilayn helped Holeal to stand. "I trust you are going to gather wood? I'll join you. God knows, I can do with a little walk." Thilayn stretched luxuriously and yawned widely before setting off after the old man.

(I thought I'd revive this lovely old thread. :))

Arethel stood, and followed. She felt a little chilled as she moved away from the fire. She suddenly remembered Arinatha's half-spoken warning, that they would be safe, until we begin our journey. She shivered.
