Banners: by me, for you

Soooooooooooooooooo

Sometimes I read poems really late at night and interesting things happen.

And sometimes I make graphics out of random poems.

And sometimes I make graphics just so I can play with features.

These may not make as much sense as they could but I enjoyed making them anyway.

I went and found the original picture which I used for this avatar (the image is copyrighted in some way so for the record, whoever created it is a genius and I thank them for their hard work and enjoy sharing their work. ;)) and did some more experimental work with it. :p

Out of the three this:

is my favorite! Very cool concept feel, and the words match. I didn't give it the best rating before, but it's not my style, I just have to learn to look at things as they are as a whole! I'm really seeing the beauty in it now!

Could you give me a link to the original image? I'd like to experiment with it a bit myself.
 
As I said, the flickr that it came from was veeeeeery big on the whole copyright thing. ;)

I'm in the middle of reading Orthodoxy (because I'm apparently not big on light reading) and this line struck me, it's talking about how artists say they're free and don't have to follow any rules but really, if you want anyone to enjoy your art there are some rules you have to follow. ;)

Oooooooh I've been waiting for some new ones!

For the banner I give a 9-10! My one and only complaint is that the text is hard to read.. Other then that, everything is perfect! The style is awesome too!

10-10 for the avi! Greatly cropped!!

I'm thinking the text is probably easier to read on my computer than on anyone else's because it's perfectly fine for me.

Thank you. Ironically I didn't do the initial cropping, that's what the thumbnail was of the picture was on the site I got it from and I decided I liked the cropping so I printscreened and got it. ;)
 
So rather than packing for my trip I just sat down and made this.

I heard the song on the radio on the way home, I haven't heard it in a while. It struck me how much it fit Faramir. I might make an avatar to go with it because I really liked some of the pictures I found.

Ooh, I like it a LOT. It fits him so well, and it's beautiful. Fantastic blending.
