:D That's from Dorian Gray...which I still haven't seen :( But I'm making myself read the book first. B/c Oscar Wilde is awesome.

Oh no honey,DO NOT WATCH IT!
It's disgusting and XXXXX rated totally. I have no Idea how Ben let himself do it,(probably doubled his paycheck after he read the script) But I know his conscience let him suffer for it.
He kept having weird steamy dreams and would feel sick thinking about it.
(He actually said that too.)
So,I hope the poor boy doesn't do anything stupid like that again:(

ohhh dear :(

ohh dear i was thinking about watching dorian gray on one of those independant movie channels is it that bad :( i keep trying to find it on there i haven't checked recently because i'm getting over the stomach flu :(

Oh, I know it's weird. When the book was written it was VERY controversial for its time, but Wilde intended to write it that way. The reason the elements are so disturbing are b/c it's supposed to show how corrupt Dorian really is inside even though he appears beautiful on the outside (the ugly portrait is the only thing that shows what his "true self" looks like). So, yeah, it's meant to be that way...it's the whole point of the story...Dorian isn't supposed to be a hero. He's an innocent man who gets corrupted by another, and that whole corruption theme is what it's about...appearance vs. reality, you know.

Sorry, English major :o

Well yeah I know that I read the book synopsis.
I wrote a film-noir book that featured Dorian Gray in it,and he emerges from his sinful, murderous self back to that innocent lamb he was before.
My favorite line is when his friend's girlfriend sends them home after dinner she yells at dorian,
"Be safe, and stay away from Henry wotton!":D

What the...AGH I CAN'T STAND AVATAR!!!!

Stupid excuse to hate on the US military, that's what it was. I am sick and tired of Hollywood doing that. Why don't they go out and live in the godforsaken desert where you can't sleep during the day b/c it's too hot and have to do everything by night, getting blown up by bombs trying to protect innocent women and children.

And that's exactly the reason why I will not ever be in the military. ;)

Well, I'm not going to be in it either, but those idiots (yes, because they are) in Hollywood have NO RIGHT to keep bashing the people who ARE in the military. DO THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE SACRIFICES THOSE PEOPLE MAKE?! I'm sorry for ranting totally off-topic, but I am SICK AND TIRED of Hollywood showing complete and utter disregard for the people who put their lives, sanity, and everything they have on the line just so they can protect people they don't even know. And those rich morons just sit there and decide they can use the freedom that those people are dying to protect to make films that say the military is in its entirety evil? HOW DARE THEY.
