Well during that casting period Ben was pretty pasty:D
I thought he was cute pasty:)
Anyway,I have no clue what I'm doing up at 10:24 PM but heres my new wallpaper I made like 2 minutes ago:

I looooove it! If anyone wants it you can have it. Mine works on my computer because I have a mac so the settings can be put to tile and it doesn't look fuzzy

First replacing Reep's voice and now Ben has no accent? what! THIS IS NOT A RE-MAKE OF A FILM YOU IDIOT MIKE! This is an installment which means everyone is the same! PLUS IF CASPIAN WAS SUPPOSED TO BE NEARLY A MAN IN THE FIRST FILM THEN WHY WOULD HIS ACCENT CHANGE IN THREE YEARS?
GAAAAAH! I have more reasons for us fangirls to riot in the story:D
(cuz us benonites show up quite a bit in that book:))
 
Hey does anyone want to help me make Mr. B posters? I'm making them today because I'm done with my chapter but I wanted to know if anyone wanted to help. Like movie posters or a book cover. I can never decided on what it should look like so I'm making mock ups. Just keep in mind your character elements are Andrew Adamson(try and get ones with his evil little smile) Robert pattinson(at his greasiest) Norah Jones(the actual singer) or Demi Lovato,she works too. A sock monkey and of course Ben. Op for weird pictures no one uses or those ones of him with that black leather jacket.
I'm gonna make a few and then post em'. Tell me if you wanna help!:D
 
grrrrr *growls* I really really hate the people who direct those films:mad:
They're no.1 on my pet peeves list grrrrrrrrrr. I mean,they wouldn't mess it up like this if our dear lewis was ALIVE! I have watched the behind the scenes of other films made from books (examp. where the wild things are and meet the robinsons) and they let the author tell them how to do it and they did the meet the robinsons films spot on to the characters and everything! But if the author is DEAD! then they walk all over you,and thats not right! Thats why if I die young I leave all my stories in the hands of My sister and the Mr. B book in the hands of Ben because its him we're writing about and he can decided what to do with it if he pleases:)
and he and my sister is NOT allowed to hand it over to adamson AT ALL!
 
Here I made a poster,or err a book cover. I can't decide. I'm playing around with names because hardly anyone calls him Mr. B in the book so I'll change the name,except my mum won't know. I can't believe she still thinks Ben is a made up character! hee hee!

Oh, and OT:
I think they changed Reep's voice b/c they wanted him to sound "older" or something. Which sort of makes sense, since mice age faster than humans (even Narnian Mice probably do). Plus, he's supposed to be a bit mature than the swashbuckling Mouse in PC...he's on this noble mission to find Aslan's Country and fulfill his destiny, so it'll probably work with him sounding older.

Don't be alarmed--apparently it is entirely realistic for this to actually happen (even in the short span of 3 years). Since he's been hanging around Narnians so much, it was probably very easy for the Telemarine accent to fade.
 
I AM TOO ALARMED! AT THIS RATE WE WERE BETTER OFF WITH ADAMSON FOR GOD'S SAKE!:mad:
WHY is susan and peter on there? they fade out REMEMBER MICHAEL?*Glares at mr. apted*
and NO Caspian's accent wouldn't have faded,its silly to re write an installment. You can only do that and it be okay if you're remaking something.
Plus you think mexican people lose their accents by moving over here? No I didn't think so.
I am seriously ticked off at 20th century Fox and michael apted about this.
20 fox even ruined my other two favorite books this year also!
Ramona and Beezus along with Diary of a Wimpy kid. I'm like NOT going to get any enjoyment out of the cinema this year:( except for toy story 3,that looks good.

I am so gonna go watch it anyway and since everyone will be at the 3D version I can scream at the screen in the normal part and boo it at the end:D

Okay, okay, okay. CALM DOWN.

I will explain this so you will not have to freak out.

1) It is entirely possible for someone's accent to change in that amount of time. The more you spend around people with different accents, the more you pick it up...and you can pick it up surprisingly fast, too. Sometimes in a matter of weeks/months. So it's not that unrealistic. Also, Caspian is young. If say, Miraz, was still alive and living among Narnians, his accent probably wouldn't change much because he's already spent the majority of his life speaking that way. But because Caspian is much younger, younger people pick up accents MUCH MUCH more quickly.

2) PETER AND SUSAN DO BRIEFLY APPEAR IN THE BOOK. In the poster they are clearly dressed in their REGULAR clothes, and according to Paul Martin here at narniafans, they have a VERY BRIEF appearance in the film, which I assume is at the beginning (LIKE IN THE BOOK) when everyone is going their separate ways for the summer. It makes much more sense in a film to actually SHOW this happening rather than have a character verbally explain that "Oh, Susan and Peter went off to wherever"--that would just end up sounding a little awkward. Remember, film adaptations have a lot more to do with what is SEEN rather than just spouting words at people.

3) And again, the White Witch is part of a short DREAM SEQUENCE, which most likely has to do with the DARK ISLAND.

So, see, DON'T FREAK OUT. There is nothing to worry about.
By the amount of work the cast & crew has put into making the film a lot more true to Lewis' vision, it's probably going to turn out VASTLY better than the first two put together.

No,one's accent does not change if you have had it since you were born. Caspian is supposed to be about well,they way they're going,nearly a Man now and there for his accent wouldn't change. Little 10 year old mexican kids come over here and they don't change their voices one bit.

I have the right to freak out okay!



As to get off subject and discuss something funny,I'm gonna try the birthday invitation again this year:D
Yeah,I had this hilarious dream that he actually came and like had to spend the night(weee heee hee!) and so I got out the video camera and I first had it towards me and was saying: "Hello Chisha,CG,And all you benonites,someone wants to say Hi to ya!"
So then it turns to ben and he's like "Hello!"
And then we ramble off with an interview where you ask him silly stuff no one bothers such as:
What's your favorite color?
what's your favorite food?
How old is your brother?
What does he look like?
Do you have pets?

Hee hee,I totally WISH this would work:D I hope it will......hee hee hee hee hee!*giddy-laugh*
 
Asking silly questions isn't very helpful to brain picking. I need deep questions :p lol.
I totally disagree with the accent change as well. I am not sure, but I don't think you can lose an accent that quickly if you've reached age something-teen and had it all your life. But it is fantasy so I suppose anything is possible.
My uncle was born and raised in Tennessee but he joined the Air Force and was stationed in England for several years and now he talks like a Brit. It is possible to pick up an accent after you're grown/ mostly grown. But in the real world I think it takes more than 3 years.
All the same, I won't let it stop me from enjoying this movie
 
Accsents do change. My mate was born and bread form South Africa untill he was 15. He then moved here and now 19 pritty much sounds English. There are only hints of his old accsent dpending on what word he says.
