"She to was..." he didn't say the word. he knew she would understand, "but the thing is he beet her nearly to death. she got away but...internal bleading." he stopped and covered his eyes with his free hand, "even with sergery it," he shook his head and took a few breaths, "it only took two weeks and she was gone."


He kept the kiss for just a moment then turned back to Anna, "how about you give me the address?"

"Oh Neil I'm so sorry," she said stopping and looking at him.

"Like hell you are. Nither of you are going to come." he said fermly, "I don't want either of you getting on thier raidar any more than you already are."

Cara sighed, she knew there was no point in arguing. "You'll need food," she stood up and walked into the kitchen and started putting food in a bag for him. She hoped he would follow her...so she could say goodbye, because that's what this was rappidly becoming.

Cara looked through the fridge, she put some soda in. There was enough food in there now to last him for a week at least.

"mmm," she said thinking, "but then if... that had never happened would we be hear now?"

"I don't know," it was an odd thought. If sam had lived would he have vowed to hold her dream? would he have come to New york and put up with Hanz just to make sure he would get to act on stage?

"If this had never happened to me i wouldn't be hear now, id probably be in school still living with my mum and still with a half license and a Saturday job at a wall-mart, " she said with a little smile.
