Why wasn't trumpkin by himself in the poll? He was really a great character. Every review of the movie agrees that Peter Dinklage (sp?) did a great job.

I enjoyed his performance. I don't remember Trumpkin being that humorous in the book, however, it was a nice touch in the movie.

Trumpkin was great! But really there were too many characters to love!

In rough order: ASLAN, Peter, Susan, Lucy, Edmund, then Trumpkin, Minotaur, Pattertwig, Trufflehunter, Nikabrik, Reepicheep, Glozelle, and Miraz's wife.

Caspian himself was fine but I expect I shall like him more in the next.

Caspian is my favorite in this movie. i expect Peter to be my favorite before watching the film since he's my absolute favorite in LWW, but Caspian gets my vote.

favorite non-human is definitely Reepicheep. :D

I thought they all did an astounding job, much better than the first, but Edmund got all the good lines! I definitely loved the writer's further development of his character.

Haha, wow. Edmund's winning by alot.

Well, for me, it was like... I really liked Edmund's character, and I also really liked Lucy's. I remember first time I ever read the books, Caspian was my all time favorite character ever, but I think Ben totally didn't do him justice...

Anyways, in the film, I have to say Edmund. With Lucy in a -very- close second. Aslan was amazing, too <3

Favorite character!

My favorite character was Edmund Pevensie. Reep was also an amazing character. But that was all laughs and there wasn't actually character development with Reep...it was pure laughs only, which was great but Edmund had genuine character development. I really liked Peter, and Susan also but I think that Skander Keynes is a brilliant actor and is a chameleon when it comes to his character develpment. He has amazing humor and delivery of his lines. And we got to watch him mature and develop into a man from the first movie to the second. Plus it doesn't hurt that he has become a very gorgeous boy...haha. I absolute hate Lucy's character, in both the first and second movies. I find her to be whiny and annoying. I do respect her character and what it brings to the movie, but she is my least favorite for sure. I also like Prince Caspian's character but I think that Edmund overshadowed him and always stole the scene. Everytime the scene would shift away from Edmund to Caspian...I would find myself still thinking about what Edmund just did or said instead of paying attention to the new scene with Caspian in it.

Welcome back, stronger WM -- I have not seen you around in a while. Welcome, Mrs. Pevensie. I didn't see you post before.

I agree with you about Edmund/Skandar; he was my second favorite in the movie. But I disagree about Lucy -- I think Georgie does a great job with her, and that she is a great character. The problem in PC film was they did not give Lucy the same important role she had in the book, so she was marginalized.

My favorites are, in order, Aslan, Lucy, Edmund, Peter, Reepicheep.

I love how they potrayed Lucy and Ed, Lucy being the one most faithful to Aslan, one thing I did really like is the films focus on the two's growing bond. :) although, they kinda potrayed her as the gentle one... Susan...I really don't think was potrayed as 'gentle' at all in this one, although it did give her a bigger role....which is what Anna wanted.

And Ed was much more humble and thoughtful...you could really see his transformation, and it also made him much more likeable then in the first film.

I still love Peter...he was my 3rd fav char in the book and LWW....and...even though I didn't particulary 'agree' with his character change, I can understand why he felt and reacted the way he did, and it made his struggle to grasp the loss of Narnia as a full reality, much more believable....Lewis really didn't show much detail as to what the kid's reaction were to the dramtaic chance of events in the book as much as I think many of us would have liked, so I think this is just a "how they could have reacted" sort of thing...as everyone reacts to things in a different way....in this case Peter's bitterness got the better of him while Lucy put her child-like trust in Aslan even when things didn't make sence....although I didn't think it right that Caspian was older then Peter when in the book it was the other way around.... =/

And Reep..was just amazing!! Everything I thought he would be! XD

I enjoyed how Edmund seemed to be in the background so to speak. He only spoke up and acted when he felt it was needed.

And this is probably my fan girlish coming out but...Edmund would have owned Miraz with seconds...;)

Out of all the characters in the movie (as most stated already) Edmund was my favorite. In PC, you can definitely see how his past experiences have influenced the decisions he made his second time around in Narnia. For one, he didn't hesitate in killing off the spell (the scene with Jadis), and wasn't enamored with Jadis' beauty and magic as Peter and Caspian were.

Reepicheep comes in a close second. His wit, humor and courage are very captivating and the producers made him just the way I always imagined him to be. One problem that I had though, was when he said "shut up" to the squirrel. That, to me, was completely out of character and I don't think they should've put that in.

Oh yes, I completely agree with you. It's kind of like Edmund was taking care of unfinished business. Finishing off Jadis while he still could.

Can´t pick up only one
I said all are great.

This time King Peter was great.

King Miraz was brilliant, I find him not so different from book at all...
He doesn´t have to do anything to be a terrific villain, he just look as a cool villain.
I knew this villain would be powerful becoz they got the right actor, I saw him before and knew he would be a great bad guy..

Telmarines were great. And the dwarves.

Maybe those ones. Peter, Miraz, the Telmarines and the Dwarves.

But I really really love when villains are powerful.
