Tasha ran after him, "Eric!" She came across him in the upstairs hallway and tackled him. "Ok, bugger, where is it?"
"Khris has it! I don't! I promise, just get off me!" Eric yelled from under her.
Tasha jumped off, "Khris!" Khris was her 12 year old sister.

ooc: hmmm... maybe I am... maybe I'm not. HEHE...

"What?" asked the uninterested voice of Khris.
Khris had just walked upstairs, after hearing her name being shouted out.
She was chewing gum.
"Did you steal my earchain?" asked Tasha, not noticing Eric get up and rush down the stairs, going past Khris.
"Why would I want your stupid chain?" asked Khris in a bored voice.
Khris was at that age when she was becoming a handful. She continued chewing upon her gum, looking at Tasha in an uninterested fashion.

(What shall Tasha say? And don't say what other characters do. That my job. lol.)

OOC: I know... I just wanted to make my post a wittle wonger *pouts*.

ic: "Uh, maybe you like being obnoxious?" Tasha said glaring at Khris. "It wouldn't be the first time ya know."

Khris saiid nothing, she just grinned and walked to her room.
Tasha was angry at herself because she knew she let Khris get to her.
Making her way downstairs, Tasha just decided to go to school without her earchain. Nobody would notice, because Tasha had three other earchains on anyway.
As she got to school, Tasha side tracked into the girls bathroom.
She needed to adjust her black eyeliner again.
As she stared at her reflection in the mirror, Tasha felt like an eerie presence had shadowed over her.
Shivering and thinking she was acting idiotic, Tasha leant forward over the sink and adjusted the tone of her eyeliner.
Suddenly, Tasha felt something upon her right hand.
Glancing down, she saw a rotting hand that led up to an arm with the school jacket and the face of a decomposing corpse of a girl Tasha's age.
The girl grinned in a creepy way, her rotting gums being shown as she emitted a shrieking sound.
Tasha was freaked out! Yanking away, she stumbled out of the girls bathroom and looked behind her before the door closed. She saw no corpse there.
Gulping slightly, Tasha gained her resolve and began to walk back into the girls bathroom.

(Shall she go in? Or shall she lose her resolve and continue on her way?)

Oh, grow up... You're just imagining things, Tasha thought as she stepped into the bathroom, the fear making her skin crawl. She glanced around to see if the corpse was there. Nothing. I told you. You're getting freaked out for nothing. That's what so many all nighters and horror films do to your brain. Tasha picked up the eye pencil she had dropped on the floor and began recaking the black line to her under eyes.

After she was done, Tasha sighed in relief. Maybe she WAS just imagining things.
The day went by fast, as did the classes. Tasha was on her way walking to her home sooner then she expected.
Suddenly, Tasha thought she heard the sound of footsteps behind her.
She stopped and so did the footsteps.
She started walking, but heard them again.

(Shall she stop and look? Or just continue home?)

Tasha closed her eyes and whispered to herself, "You're just imagining things." She quickly walked to her house. She ran to her room and locked the door behind her, ingoring the comments of her brothers and sisters.

That night, as Tasha was sleeping, she did not notice a dark presence as a man with two red eyes and a decaying face creep out of the shadows of her room.
He slinked over to her bed and gently clasped his bony hands around her neck and squeezed tightly.
Opening her eyes, Tasha tried to struggle out of his deathly grip, but that made the man all the more determined as his fingernails dug into the back of her neck.
With a silent scream, Tasha felt herself slipping when....

"Honey, time for school!"
Tasha jerked her eyes open.
She sat up in bed, glancing at the sunlit corner where the man had come from. It had seemed so real.
"Tasha!" her mum's voice could be heard.
Geting up, Tasha got ready for school.

(What will she wear, what will she do for the rest of her day? I'll post the aftermath.)

Tasha glanced at her alarm clock. "I over slept... AGAIN!" She grabbed a pair of tight black "skater" pants from her drawer and grabbed a red and white stripped shortsleeved shirt from her closet. She didn't have time to get a shower so she threw some gel in her hair, got dressed, fixed her ear rings, and threw some make up on. She ran down the stairs and grabbed a piece of toast and a cup of mocha and rushed out to grab the bus. She wouldn't be caught dead walking to school this morning.

As Tasha got to school, she noticed something was wrong.
Her left hand itched like crazy.
Glancing down, Tasha noticed some decaying flesh on the part of her hand that itched.
"Oh no, no , no, no," she muttered, going into the girl's bathroom.
She doubled over the sink, her whole body was shaking.
As she looked up, Tasha saw all her flesh and skin start to peel off.
She screamed, but no sound came out as her teeth popped out of her mouth.
Pieces of her joints started to fall off.
Suddenly, the man who had strangled her appeared.
"Guess I need to adjust the formula JUST right next time. These zombies, unlike myself, keep falling to pieces in this atmosphere."
That was the last thing Tasha heard before her head fell off and collapsed into the sink.
Her decomposed body fell to the ground, making a "squealching" sound.
All that was left was a mess of blood and bones on the ground, Tasha's left hand clinging onto the sink......

The End.

Story: A Farmer's Daughter...

Kelsey Montiago's family was poor.
Her mother and father were imigrants from Spain, before Kelsey was born.
She was born as an American, but she was still an immigrant.
She did not go to school because her parents could not afford it.
She had a private tutor, a Miss Pebmarsh. Miss Pebmarsh had also been an immigrant, so had offered to teach Kelsey for free. The family were indebted to Miss Pebmarsh, a wily and cheerful woman with gorgeous looks and a nice figure.
Kelsey and her family are church-goers, they fear but respect God.
Every Sunday, Kelsey sits by the dry crops of her father's barren land and prays for God to save her family from starvation and damnation.

That Sunday, Kelsey Montiago knelt and prayed at the small wooden cross imbedded in the field.
(How shall she pray?)

"Dear God," she prayed aloud through her thick Spanish accent, "I know I am but a lowly mess to You, but Lord please, I offer all that I am, that You would save my family, so that we may better serve You. Lord, I know that there are people out there that are living worse than I yet, but Lord, the food is getting low, please save my family. I pray to You that I may grow in Your name. Amen." Kelsey stayed there for a little while longer, meditating. She pulled out the pocket size white leather bound Bible that she always kept by her side. She randomly opened it and read the verse that her eyes first landed on, "Psalms 40:1 and 2 'I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.'" A tear ran down Kelsey's dirt covered face. She whipped it away, stuck the Bible back into her simple dress and walked back up to the shack she called home.
