ooc: Sweet, I just keep getting ditched. If the story gets affected that much, then just temporarily control my character. Otherwise it all gets screwed up.

ic: Mark heaved in a breath, massaging his temples. He hated his father for playing with the muscles of his brain, twisting them into painful positions whenever Mark did something he disapproved of. Mark blinked, staring into the darkness ahead, and started up the stairs as quickly as he could.

Where did they go now? he thought, pacing through the foyer and up the grand staircase.
