"Thanks." she said, smiling. "Yeah, I'll try." and with a nod, and smile, she walked down the sidewalk, towards the light of the field that was only a few blocks away....

Adina finished putting the sodas away. She noticed that some thing were in the sink and they needed washed. She was almost done washing the dishes when she cut her hand on a knife. She bit her lip to keep from screanming. Adina grabbed a paper towel and put it on her had to stop the bleeding.

Hey thanks for the help" Ceagin said as he walked back into the living room. "Sara you didn't have to stay. I mean isn't part of a party is you go eat free food and don't have to clean at all?" he said jokingly with a grin.

Nick walked over the the simk with a few more glasses and set them in the sink when he noticed the paper towl around Adina's hand, "He can I look at that?" he said holding out his hand and a very concerned look on his face.

"uh, sure," Adina said, "its just a little cut," she took the paper towel off her hand, it wasn't a little cut.
 
"Nice try with the little cut excuse," he said looking closer at her hand, "we really need to take care of this before it gets any worse." leading her gently towards the bathroom he turned on the faucet on coolish water. "Stick your hand under that. I need to get the disinfectants." Nick reached into a closet sized cabinet along the wall. the bottom shelves had what you would expect towels, cleaning supplies bathroom stuff etc. but the top shelf was full of medicine, disinfectants, gauze, and every other medical supply anyone would ever need.
 
Tyra sighed and began to study. She bit into the chicken sandwich she had ordered from Burger King. "Disgusting," she said to herself.

Sarah jumped when she heard Ceagin come up behind her. She laughed nervously. "Oh, I don't mind. I mean...never mind. F-forget I said anything." She avoided Ceagin's gaze as she continued to clean.
 
Kiera got to the soccer field, and inhaled deeply. She knew she would never get tired of the smell of the grass, and with a slight breeze, everything was perfect. A tinge of giult still clung to her, but, she grabbed a ball, and began doing head-bops, counting in her mind as the numbers progressed.

"hey, you ok?" Ceagin asked noticing that something wasn't alright.


Nick gently pulled Adinas hand from under the water and dabbed around the wound with a towel to dry it off. He took a small piece of gauze and lightly dried off the cut itself. His hands were gently and kind not rough. eh opened a bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide and soaked a cotton ball in it. "Ok this might sting but I need to disinfect this. I mean who knows what was in that water." he said as he squeezed the cotton ball and the clear liquid spilled out and onto the open wound.

Sarah said, "Yeah, it's fine. It was a really great party, why wouldn't I be ok?" She giggled a little nervously. "The truth is, I didn't know. This...is actually my first party. I was really just trying to get through without looking completely clueless. I bet I sound like a real geek, huh?" She looked to the ground, bracing herself for the usual reaction.

Adina almost screamed, her hand felt like it was on fire. She thought she was going to cry, it hurt extremely bad.
 
Kiera breathed heavily. She had no clue what time it was, but she took out her cell phone, and flipping it up, she checked the screen...

She sighed, tired by all means, but not wanting to stop at all, but soon forcing herself to get some sleep. She was so happy that no one had classes the next day, for a Teacher's Conferecse took place...

Nick saw the very familiar look on her face but held her hand firm, gentle, but firm. the Peroxide hissed as the white bubbles rose out of the wound. "Adina try not to look directly at is. That might help. Focus on something that will take your mind of some of the pain." he said gently with a reassuring grin. If anyone was looking on they might have guessed that he was a doctor by his calm and collected manner.
 
ooc: I'm gonna be gone for the next 2 days...sorry!! So, try not ot interact iwht my character...:p

ic:All ofa sudden, Kiera's phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Kiera?!"
"Hey mum."
"How are you, darling? Is everything going good?" her mother asked, and a sudden longing filled Kiera to be home again.
"Yeah, things are fine..."

And Kiera continued to talke with her mum, about school, and how her younger sister and brother were doing, and how her da was. But, it seemed all too quick that her mother had to go...

Adina looked away from her hand, she looked at Nick. "you should be a doctor," she said, she tired to smile.
 
Nick grinned as he pulled a small green cloth out of a tiny baggy. he smoothed the cut over with it, dabbing more than wiping. He pulled out some gauze and gently wrapped the gauze around his hand and tying it in a tiny knot smiled up at Adina, "Actually, I'm studying to be a pediatrician.
Ok so we are done here."
