Nick grinned, "Yah I do. after having such a large family and having brothers and sisters to always look after it sort of grows on you." nick walked out into the living room that was empty except Ceagin and Sarah sitting on the couch talking. Nick looked at his watch, "1:30 am wow." he said amazed.

"Yah," Nick replied reluctantly. It had been fun talking to her and getting to know her. He didn't want her to go btu he didn't know what to say. "Hey if you want I can walk you to your room."

nothing much. the party has ended and Nick is going to walk Adina home.

He similed and opened the door for her. "So what are you going to be?"

In the living room Ceagin was talking to Sarah, " So what are you shooting to be?"

Kiera, after a lengthy discussion with her mom, left for her doorm, a short walk away. As she walked, she could've sworn there was movement behind her, but whenever she looked back, tere were onl shadows in her wake...

Sarah smiled, "I actually...don't really know. I'm an English major, but I don't know if my life rests in literacy. I always wanted to help people. Not, like, disturbed people. I don't have enough courage for that. But...sort of give them hope for the future. You know? I'm toying with the idea of being some sort of psychiatrist. What about you?"

Kiera got back to her dorm room, where she opened the door, and her roomate shrieked, instantly covering her eyes. Kiera suppressed a laugh, but couldn't help the smile. "It's alright. Just me.." she said, and the girl stopped screaming. "You should knock before entering!! I could've had a heart attack!!" Kiera nodded. "I'm sorry. I'll keep that in mind next time.." she said, too tired to talk about anything at the moment.
though, to her dismay, her phone rang....

Adina walked out side, it was a little cold, she smiled, "I'm going to be a csi." She looked at Nick to see his reaction.
Nick smiled a nodding in thought, “Wow taking on the hard core.” He said. “What made you want to do that? I mean what made you decide that you want to investigate crime for the rest of your life?”

Ceagin looked at his lap avoiding eye contact, “Honestly Sarah, I…” He looked up to face her his voice changing from embarrassed to confidant, “ I most likely will be a pro athlete.” He smiled, “ I don’t think I would have enough patience to be anything else.” He said again in his smooth and charming tone.

Kiera let it ring, falling asleep almost immediatly.
She dreamed of stadiums, her parents sitting there, as she was in unifrom for a Women's soccer league...

Nick smiled a nodding in thought, “Wow taking on the hard core.” He said. “What made you want to do that? I mean what made you decide that you want to investigate crime for the rest of your life?”

Adina looked down, "may parents were murdered, the people that killed them were never found." She looked up at Nick, "I dont want any one to have to go though that, not knowing who killed the people they loved."

"oh," nick cleared his throat uncomfortably. he didn't know what to say. he wished he could say I know how you feel or something comforting but he couldn't. "I'm so sorry." it was lame and so stereotypical but it was all that came to his mind.

Adina looked down, "thanks." She looked around, "we're almost back."

"yah" Nick still didn't know what to say. What Adina had said bothered him and he couldn't make it alright. He could see the pain on her face when she talked about it. As they walked up to her door he smiled, “It was really great getting to know you." he wanted to kick himself. How lame was that. After she had told him she was an orphan all he could say was great to meet you.

Nicks first reaction was to accept but he didn't want to seem like the other guys with a one track mind. he wasn't like them. "I'd better get going." he smiled again, "I can't believe only just met you today."

Adina smiled, "yeah, it seems like we've known each other for forever." She was a little sad that he didn't want to come in, but she was happy. It proved he wasn't like all the other guys.
