After about two and a half hours of straight studying Nick put his hand behind his head, “I give up. Me brain was not maid for thus tedious work,” he said jokingly trying hard to mimic a pirate.

“It is,” he stopped eating for a second, “you should come home with me for Christmas.” He said smiling at his won idea, “it would be fun.”

Adina smiled, "nether's mine, we need to take a brake."

“So the question of the next few months…What are doing over Christmas?”

“Yah, no problem,” Ceagin said with a reassuring smile, “My mom is constantly trying to get me to bring friends home so she would love it.”

"I dont know, I dont have any family to spend Christmas with, I'll probably stay here." She smiled a little, "what are you doing?"

Nick shrugged,” Probably going home for Christmas. Not like I don’t see my parents every day here,” he said with a smile,” hey can you hold on a sec,” he said as he pulled out his cell and walked into the other room. He was gone for a few minutes and then came back with a huge smile on his face, “The mystery is solved. If you want you can come and spend a whirlwind week with me and my family.”

Ceagin smiled, “yah it will be. I’ll take you skiing if you are brave enough,” he said in a teasing voice, “it’ll be fun.” He finished his burger and looked at his watch, “hey I hate to get to my next class. I hate to bale on you like this.” He said with a half smile, “so you latter,” he said as he got up and paid his bill.

"We'll see how brave I am." She got up as well and paid for her meal. "Yeah, I should get going too. Bye." She waved and headed out the door.

Nick groaned and laid his head on her shoulder, “I know…I know. Ok lets get it over with. He sat down and pulled out all his notes.”

Washing down his burger with some pop he thought for a moment, “No not really any plans. I might go home for Christmas and then again I just might stay here. How about you?”

Chez smiled a thoughtful sort of smile. He looked up from his can and strait at Kiera, “it’s like there’s a hole inside of you that no one can fill and it just seems to get bigger by the day.” He leaned forward and set his elbows on his knees, “who did you lose?” the more they talked the more open he felt with her. He knew she could understand where he was coming from and it felt good to understand someone else for a change.

Kiera smiled and nodded. "Yeah, then soon, you'll just...disappear altogether..." she said. Though she leaned back, tracing the rim of the pop can. "I lost my parents. My dad killed my mum, then, when I walked in, he got angry, and tried to drown me. I escaped, but he didn't want to go to jail, so hje commited suicide." she said, the smile slowly fading. "What about you?"

For a while he didn’t reply he just sat there staring at his hands. Then he looked up tears brimming in his eyes, “I was street racing with a friend and I lost control of the car. I walked away from it but my girlfriend and her best friend died.” The tears spilled over and trickled down his face, “she wasn’t just my girlfriend secretly she was my fiancé, but no one knew because they said we were too young.” He looked up and didn’t bother wiping off the tears his eyes glistened with pain from behind his bangs, “at lest you didn’t kill the person you loved.”

Kiera just stared. She could feel the pain, just the thought of the tragedy forcing tears down her face. She could never imagine what he was going through, though she knew a good part of it. "I'm sorry." She said, and wiping her face, stood. "I think I should go..." she forced a smile, and grabbed her bag. Before she walked out, though, she turned, and looked back at Chez. "I bet she was very happy. But..." she hesitated. "I also think, because she loved you so much, she wouldn't want you to live your life in misery. She'd want you to remember her, but the good memories. And I don't think you were too young. If it's any comfort..." she forced another smile. "I'll see you later."
And she left.

Chez wanted to stop her but he couldn’t. He just stared strait ahead as she left. When the door closed behind her he threw his can as hard as he could. It sprayed soda as it flew. Tears burned down his face as the memories of the car crash replayed in his mind. It was so real as if it had happened yesterday. He could still hear Torii screaming as the glass shattering all around him. He closed his eyes trying to close out the sound that pierced his whole body

Kiera went back to her dorm. She had yet to do her homework, so she jumped onto her bed, opening the covers, and bega nto read. It was interesting in her sense, and she found herself not stopping, even to go to practice. though when she looked at the clock, she knew that coach would be ticked when she wouldn't show, but she truly didn't care...

Sarah got to her next class and sat down. She couldn't believe Ceagin gave her the bracelet. It was beautiful, and she knew it must have been hard for him to give it up. She looked forward to going with him to his house.

Adina grinned, "I'd like that." She stood up, "do want something to eat?"

Adina smiled, "ok," she looked at the movies for a minute or so, then put in Ocean's 11. She sat on the couch beside Nick and started it.

Nick put his arm around her shoulders, “Ok no laughing but I have never seen this movie before.” he waited to see what she would say

Ceagin made his way to the parkish sort of aria after his class. It was about five pm and he enjoyed being outside. The weather was starting to turn cold be he didn’t mind. There was a lot to think about and here seemed like the perfect place to do it.

Chez felt drained. All of his guards were down. Everything that he had been for the past four years was gone and he felt stripped and beet. Kiera was the last person on earth that he thought would understand at all and yet she was the person who understood him completely. Nick never really understood and Ceagin was too involved in that particular situation to understand completely, but Kiera. Tears once again rolled down his face. This was something that should have happened a long time ago. Finally after so much time he was finally letting go.
