" I was wondering why am I on this ship and not on the ship Alex is on?," she asked.

"Well Arcturus and Sapphire are on the Orion, and if trouble happenes we'll need a water element on our side. Besides, nothing rekindles the love like a tiny break from each other."

"I'm not talking about killing," Kathryn said. "I'm talking about just fighting for a cause."

Leila pursed her lips and squinted her eyes, "Fighting equals killing. What you're really saying is killing for a cause. Do you think going into battle means you just knock someone out then sign the peace treaty?" Leila couldn't understand what this girl was trying to say.

"What about verbal fighting? Don't tell me that you can kill someone verbally," Kathryn said. She was getting impatient. "I'm not saying that by fighting, you kill someone for a cause. Maybe you're just fighting by resisting something. Going on strike for whatever reason."

Acela wondered how her father was doing, she hoped he was doing well. She looked at her necklace and a small smile came upon her face.

She rolled her eyes " Sure all right," she told him.

"Go find your room, and we'll eat at sundown."

"I can think of a few ways," she said with a smug smile,"Yes but you said you'd want to be in a battle, fighting for what you believe in. But let me ask you this, have you ever ever ever killed someone?"

"No," Kathryn said. "I have fought, but I have never killed."

" All right let me know if I get something from the air," she told him, walking to her room.

"No," Kathryn said. "I have fought, but I have never killed."

"Will do," he said.

"That's pretty obvious. If you've ever talk to old war vetrans, even the younger ones like myself, they see no glory. They'd probably laugh at you if you told them what you just said to me. Your first kill changes everything. In my land it takes you from child to adult. Many children become adults too young. All Im saying is, dont be so eager and glorify battle. Keep your blood innocence, it doesn't make you age."

"I wasn't planning on killing anyone, or "becoming an adult," Kathryn sighed. "I was just saying that I appreciate it when people fight - not necessarily kill! - for a belief or cause."

Leila blinked again, "Its rare to fight without killing though...so...anyways it doesn't matter. If this little escapade doesn't kill you, I assure you you'll kill someone else. Its pretty enevidable. And trust me when it does happen, dont justify it with our "cause", it'll only make things worse."

Kathryn sighed, irritated. "Okay, okay, whatever." she said, not caring anymore to argue.

Leila picked up a vase and looked at its intricate design then put it down and stood there smugly, feeling content with winning the argument, "Well I have some unpacking to do. Just some advice," she said as she was leaving, "what ever idealistic thoughts you have about war, adventure and for that matter our "cause", get them out of your head, or else you'll be in a big surprise."

She went into her room and shut the door.

ooc: if leila is so against killing for a cause she should just leave the team. I mean seriously, stop giving Kathryn a hard time!!!!!!

Kathryn sighed. She hated people who thought of themselves the way Leila did. She finished unpacking then lay down on her bed, tired and kind of ticked after Leila.

(ooc she's not against it persay, but...its like there are two sides fighting and she chose one to fight for. She doesn't have to completly agree with everything that that side fights for, but agrees with it more than she agrees with the other side. Plus she doesn't think in terms like that. She sees things as they are, that the other side has their "cause" too. She thinks that killing is a pity, no matter what the cause. And yes, alot of WWII, Vietnam, Korea, and Iraq Vets will tell you nearly the same thing.)

ooc: But your not killing humans, we are killing a devil like being. There isnt a reason to feel pity in that.

ic: Rigel was looking for someone to get him something to eat.
