Favorite Scene From The Lotr Movies

Wow, this is a hard one.

Fav scene in FOTR: the two scenes between Frodo and Sam ("Sam, we're still in the Shire; what could possibly happen?" and "and I don't mean to. I don't mean to.")

Fav. Scene in TTT: (EE and regular edition) (EE first) the beginning, the scene between Aragorn and Arwen, all the Eowyn scenes (regular and EE), the EntDraft scene,Faramir and Boromir scene, Legolas' and Gimli's contest (EE and regular), and the ending speech made by Sam.

Fav. Scene in ROTK: Eowyn scenes,where Legolas kills the Mumakil ("That still only counts as one!"), and the coronation.
 
Yes, a very hard question indeed! I love the movies in general, but let me see if I can think of some of the scenes that I like to admire more than others:

lets see, I have always admired the scene with sam and frodo on Mount Doom. It is the sweetest and one of the strongest moments in the whole trilogy, because friendships are put to the test, and Sam proved his friendship to be unbreakable. He wasn't about to give up on Frodo, or the mission. Not only did he probably have those two in mind, but the rest of the friends he knew. He took that to heart, and was determined to save them, and save his best friend from death and corruption. *smiles* Sam is the best! Everytime I watch that scene on the third movie, I normally get teared up. It's very touching! :o
 
You have to love Sam. If there is one character who touches the hearts of everybody, it is Sam. You gotta love him.

The king of death coming outside to Aragorn and say" We'll fight" just at the moment when Aragorn thought everything was lost.
 
Oh yeah, and I also like The Coucil of Elrond at Rivendell in FotR "No, indeed, it is hardly possible to separate you from him, even when he is summoned to a secret Council, and you are not." and then...Elrond: Nine companions. So be it! You shall be the Fellowship of the Ring. Pippin: Great! Where are we going? :D love those lines :p
 
Its hard for me to Narrow down scenes i like they are all good i guess my favorte are the secense With Legolas and Gimli doing there body count. And Lorian and rinvedell wit the elves.

one of my fave quotes is one of Halidir when they first hit lorian "The dwarf breathed so Loud we could have shot him in the Dark"
 
The Fellowship: a tie betwen Sam's "I made a promise" scene,and Pippin&Merry lighting the fireworks.:p

The Two Towers:Sam's speech at the end.

The Return of the King:TONS!The eye falling from the tower,the eagles rescuing Sam&Frodo,Aragorn's coronation,Sam&Rosie's wedding....

All time favorite scene:The ending when Sam goes home.I love when he picks up and hugs Elanor.:D
 
Fellowship: The Flight to the Ford (beginning with "What's this, a Ranger caught off his guard?") and everything between Lothlorien and when they ride past the Argonath.

Two Towers: The Aragorn/Arwen flashbacks, Gimli/Legolas and Merry/Pippin humor, the scene when Eowyn finds out how old Aragorn is (the soup!), and the Ents attacking Isengard.

Return of the King: Arwen's Vision, the Reforging of Narsil (Anduril), the Lighting of the Beacons, when Aragorn leads the Army of the Dead against the Black Ships, then when they get off the boat and the orcs think it's just the 3 of them...Aragorn's speech at the Black Gate, his coronation, and the Grey Havens. I know, it's practically 1/2 the movie...;)
 
Here are my favorite scenes.
In FotR: The prolouge/ the scene where Gandalf tells Frodo "Many that live deserve death and some that die deserve life."/ every scene with the Ringwraiths(especially Arwen's chase scene)/and the death of Boromir(well done).

TTT: The Battle of Helm's Deep(best part in all three movies)/Sam's speech/The scene where Frodo tells Gollum his real name/ Elrond describing to Arwen how Aragorn will die and she will live on(cause it uses many lines from the book)/and the scene where Gandalf casts Sauruman out of theoden.

RotK: The Siege of Gondor and the Battle of the Pelenor Fields/ the scenes with Faramir and Denethor/ Aragorn's speech at the Black Gate/ The Charge at the Black Gate(for Frodo)/ Shelob's scenes/ all the footage at Mt. Doom/the death of Sauron/ the scene where Gandalf and the Witch King have a confrontation(in the EE only).
 
I was on YouTube the other day looking up LOTR videos, mainly Arwen ones as she is my favorite. I came across two vids (one for TT and one for ROTK), both titled similarly...The scenes for "Best Dialogue. Occasionally during the video a "For Your Consideration" will come on the screen. ;)

The best part--for me--is both of these scenes are favorites, both dealing with Arwen/Aragorn & Arwen. The best part for LOTR fans is that these have LOTS of book quote/material and also dialogue/information from the LOTR appendices (from the book not movie ;)).
