But if we're talking fictional characters, I'd like to nominate a well-respected Senator who has outstanding leadership capabilities and a long history of experience in dealing with political affairs.

Here are my candidates for president adn VP. I have devided them into parties
barring of coruse, nationality.

The Narnian Party
President: Diggory Kirke ( regardless of what poltical pundits tell you, experience is important.) If elected he promises education reform as in his words, " bless me what are they teaching in these schools."
VP: Caspian. Chosen in attempt to woo voters who feal Diggory is "too old" and "out of touch" with the times.


The Gondor Party:
President- Aragorn ( with Arwen as his First lady)
Vice President- Faramir.

The Falcon Party
President: Han Solo ( with Princess Leia as his first lady)
Vice President: Lando Calrissian.


The Federation Party
President Spock ( . There was some controversy concerning the fact he is an alien. However his mother was an American school teacher named Amanda Grayson, and some documents indicate it was possible he was born on a Starfleet naval base on Vulcan.)
VP: Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy. To help quell any xenophopic fears Americans have he nominates "a simple country doctor"


The DC Party
President Clark Kent ( Clark does have US citizen ship, despite being from another planet and he was "found" in America, so it counts.)
VP: Bruce Wayne

The Marvel Party:
President Steve Rogers ( Captain America.)
VP: Peter Parker.

Action Party
President: Bond... James Bond ( Sean Connery version, naturally.)
VP: Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones, Jr.

I nominate Edmund for president when it comes to Narnia characters

I will also nominate Link for president. He is going on an adventure himself

But I think Palpatine will be THE president. Anakin is going to be his vice-president :D

I don't think so!

For president, I think royalty should take control of the country, which is why I would put Caspian as president and Peter as Vice-President! Now THAT would be cool!

If a Narnian can't take office, I would put my vote for Nicolas de Lenfent as President and Estelle du Bois as VP.

If a Vampire chronicles person cannot take office, then I have no choice but to put either Legolas or Edward Cullen as president.
 
President: Jean Valjean. I considered Horatio Hornblower and William Laurence, but they wouldn't enjoy that role at all. Temeraire might, but then the US would be seeing lots of taxpayer's money going towards the well-being of dragons...XD

Of course Roy Mustang would be interesting as president, as would Edward or Alphonse Elric. :D

In my imagination these kittens exist...

Mozart Meerkitten for president (The Kitten [not me]:p).
Toto (kitten) vice president.(sensible one)
Midnight and Caspian (kitten) officer and commander of defense.( And his sister Mozart's especialy:p)
Dorthy (kitten) admistrative and political things. (only reason I nominate Dorthy [spunky kitten] is she'd tell people to get things done once and give them a warning if they don't, and if they still don't after that she'd yell at them loud enough they'd not mess with her again [Dorthy=LOUD. That kitten had a set of lungs!])
Hope and Silver Minor details (decoration, things, in politics, Dorthy missed ect...)
Ribbony, Missy and Dora advisors
Brave and Shaggy leutenants
