But with makeup they can make someone look older or younger I mean take William Mosely for instance he was suposed to be playing a 16 year old and he was 18, or Skander, Ed was suposed to be 13 and Skander was 16. so age can be torcked

Y'all are idiots! You're looking for acting skills, NOT looks, I just read through some of the posts "Jeremy Sumpter is so hot" WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING?!! Sheesh! NO! We want an unknown that's a GOOD actor. You all make me angry sometimes.

Ok do you think you could try to not be so aggressive. if we like talking about casting that does not make us idiots and that does not give you the right to call us that. this is supposed to be a friendly forum but it will cease to be that if people attack others so severely for really expressing their own views. Also there are many of us who have read the books, all; seven of them, several times, so the movie is just another Narnia thing to get excited about. So please keep this a friendly forum and keep your rude comments such as, "you all are idiots" to yourself or post them on some other site. Thank you very much I am sure you will understand and not take this as an attack.
 
No No people people Eragon isn't coming out until December, and know that you mention it, Ed Speeler is 18 but is playing a 15 year old part. He still looks young though, but he's blonde so he does exactly look like Skandar. Regardless thank you for you support on my thread.

um, ya'll, don't start a fight. And it was a little mean to be calling other ppl idiots, but this was also posted for the public to agree OR to disagree with your.....viewpoints.

I desperately want a good actor that is unknown. Think about it; no one knew who Will was before he started fimling the movie. And it seems like a lot of ppl knwo who Jeremy is.....they should give another young actor a chance before choosing someone else, I think. Someone new, someone with talent, someone that looks, acts, and lives Caspian out to the fullest. You look at Jeremy and think "Peter pan!!" And that will stick in everyone's mind. '

Get a new guy and you see him and you think "Caspian!"

This might have totally confused some of you.....I apologize.:eek:

That is exactly what I was thinking and it wasn't confusing. I agree w/ u. There should be an unknown actor b/c the cast wasn't that well known, Jeremy Sumpter my be "hot" but that shouldn't be the reason that you want him to play Caspian.
