Future Caspian Discussion Thread

I think either the boy in those pics or Jeremy Sumpter should play Caspian. They 'd be my favorite choices.

Either would be perfect for the role cause they both are athletic and good at sword fighting, have blond hair and blue eyes, and are good actors.

Edit: Well actually Jeremy's eyes are hazel, but they are both light colored is wat i mean. :D

Oh dear, Orlando Bloom is far too old. He is a man in his late twenties. If the movie is to remain faithful to the book, then Caspian must be between Peter and Edmond in age. Remember, it is Peter who kills Miraz for Caspian in the story. Imagine how ridiculous it would be then if Bloom were playing the role!

The actor that plays Caspian should be younger looking then Will. This means physically smaller and, well, younger looking. That is very important. I would estimate then that they would need an actor between 13-17 years old, depending on his looks. Of course, the younger the actor is, the more difficult it will be for him to play a very demanding role convincingly.

Forgive me for saying it, I know the tension this causes for some people, but since I have not stated my preference for Caspian in this thread, I should think that the boy in the photos on the previous page looks just the right age.

orli is cute- but yes he is too old to play the part in this movie!
 
The casting hasn't even been started yet, let alone decided upon, and pippa has said that it will not start till september.
 
Guys lets all remember that this is complete speculation and it'm nigh impossible that Bloom will be cast. In the meanwhile feel free to discuss him and all that jazz,.
 
i wouldnt want him to be caspian cuz hes so famous!! i think they should get someone who is not famous..but thats just me..

orlando Bloom can't play Caspian, yeah sure he is a great actor but
caspian isn't sopussed to be that old and he just isn't right for this kind of film.
it be a insult to narnia if he was to play Caspian
