Future Caspian Discussion Thread

guys if u read dawn treader.. u find out that caspien was only a few years older than lucy.. and like a little younger to edmund.
so i would suspect him to be around skandars age.
that's just what i percieved.

wrong! he's only a bit younger that Peter, between Susan and Peter's age.

But hes really old in The Silver Chair, lol. Narnia time can be confusing. But I have to remember, they are making Prince Caspian now, not The Silver Chair.

If you're reading VOTDT, it is in PC where CS Lewis says that he is Peter's age or maybe a bit younger.

For some reason in VOTDT, I see Lucy around 13-14, Edmund around 14-15, and I think Caspian is supposed to be about 17. I'm not sure... I could be wrong about those.

But of course for the movie they are most likely gonna pick someone older, as they have for the Pevensies.

Haha, your right. I never really thought of the Pevensie's growing older because I'm just so used to how they are in LWW, and didn't realize it. Ah, and then they can't come back to Narnia. Wow, when I turn my brain on I remember things!
 
To help "unconfuse" things here (maybe) if Caspian is supposed to be about Peter's age in VotDT he would be around Edmunds age in PC because there were three Narnian years between the two.

He is near Peter's age in Prince Caspian. *Sorry if I posted it the other way around.
 
Orlando Bloom cannot act.

He was good as Legolas, but being cool has become more important to him than actually acting.

He'll be a washed up moviestar in few years time the way he's going.

It'd be weird to have him in the same movie as the children. They had so much fun on set. He'd probably be a whiney, typical hollywood actor.

They should cast someone fresh and youthful for Caspian. Find some fresh blood.

You're kidding?! Really?! I had no idea. I thought he totally faked that british accent in all his movies. So I guess I can't use his accent as an excuse for Elizabethtown anymore can I? :D

I didn't think he pulled off the american accent that well.
 
I didn't think he pulled off the entire movie that well actually. He'd better stick to pirates and elves.
 
I think they should cast someone that is around 17, but only under certain circumstances. Remember, this person must be three years older than the rest of the cast later on, so they should be someone who could easily look younger than they are for Caspian, and older for Dawn Treader. I don't think by making him younger would actually help the fact that girls are going to go wild over the way he looks. They will most likely cast someone who looks like a prince, and a prince in this case should be hansome.
