I agree... and I think in VDT.... are you sure it doesn't say anything... let me check.... AHA! Lewis refers to the stranger who pulls Eustace out of the water in the beginning (who is Caspian) as a "Golden-headed boy some years older than herself" (Aka Lucy) in Ch. 1 'The Picture in the Bedroom'.

As for ages, he is near Peter's age or a little younger, as it says in Prince Caspian.
 
Personally, what colour do you consider a brunette, what colour, say you are looking at a paint tray would you say looks closest to a brunette, every colour in the world is on this paint tray! Your opinon!

I thought people said who had the colour book said that Caspian had a dirty blonde hair!
 
He is mentioned as blonde

Defiantly in VODt is he mentioned as a blonde. I think he should be blonde, i have always imagened him to be blonde. Pauline Baynes illustrations have him as a brunnete in PC, thats when they were colored in. But i saw a picture of VODt and he had blonde colored hair? the pictures were in my Beyond the Wardrobe book. Unless they had a bleaching agent then, he could of had a hair change, but i am stumped at this question. The illustrations have his hair change in the two books.
 
It doesn't matter if he's blonde or not, but one thing that I know....(almost)everybody here suggested actors who play as Caspian should has....curly hair!! :D Orlando Bloom....Liam Aiken....they has curly hair! :D

I guess for me, I have this thing where I can just look at a character's name and guess what they might look like: For Caspian, I guess it sort of sounded like, ANOTHER GOOD LOOKIN' HERO!, and I just pictured him blond. Maybe other people do that, too....
 
It's funny about the hair color thing. I had the real old paperback books when I first read the Chronicles, and I remember Prince Caspian's hair color on the cover was dark, not blond. By the same token the White Witch, on the cover of the Magician's Nephew had RED hair!!


I envision Caspian as a dark-haired, blue-eyed or dark-haired young man. I don't know why I can't picture him as a blond.

I can imagine Caspian looking like, is it Corr from Horse and His Boy? I imgaine them kinda looking alike but Caspian is taller and older. So short blonde curly hair!
 
Ok, so this thread is for discussion of the casting of Prince Caspian. This is only for discussion of possibilities. Official news will get posted in the official update thread. Also this discussion is for the character of Caspian only. I will add a poll of all the choices mentioned so far as soon as I can.
 
What makes for a "potential caspian"?
