Get to know your Narnians (please do not delete)

Oh, how I would love to have a youngster of my own eight or nine years old by then! My husband has two daughters, but we don't have a child between us, and it is my dream to get one. Only he doesn't want one!!! (His girls are so nearly grown now: 15 and 17 :( )So with God's grace and some big changes around our house, in 10 years I see myself showing my geeky child how to post on Narniafans!

Same question: where do you see yourself in 10 years from now?

I see myself being a great choreographer for dance. Realisticly, I see myself teaching history during the day, and dance at night. I wouldn't mind the latter, but it is always nice to shoot high

Same Q

I see fuzziness, I have no clue what's going to happen. I might be a missionary, or an art teacher, or something else. Don't know really, these are hopes of what might happen...

same Q

My dreams include writing, acting, teaching (or some kind of work with kids), missions and parenting. I'm not really sure where all this is going to take me.

Why don't you show your step-daughters how to post on Narniafans?

In ten years time? Hopefully married, and frimly established in my calling. However, that might take a little longer then ten years, but who knows? (besides God of course ;))

Sadly, the girls (and their dad!) do not share my Narnia obsession! They put up with the LOTR obsession because they were mildly interested in seeing the movies, but when I discovered a Narnia movie in the works and began to gab incessantly about it, my entire family was stunned and determined not to let CON rule their lives for seven years the way LOTR did for three years. Imagine! So they are happy that I found a forum where everyone wants to listen to me ramble on about CON, so they don't have to.

(I mean a forum where I can ramble on about CON, whether anyone wants me to or not ... but at least people here put up with it!)

in ten years, I'll be HOPEFULLY graduating from college sooooo. Maybe married? A decent job? You can't rush right into what you want. I'll probobly be a dish washer at some restaraunt. Want to go to Johnson and Wales too.

New Q!

How did you come up with your sig?

The Fred in a Box was a totally random comment I thought up of in one of my lonely days on the forum

The banana worshipping line is from Corrupt a Wish, in which I was subjected to worship the garbage can and the banana men (curse you Dragon and GC!)

The octopus line I stole from a friend (I asked first, but I still stole it :)) and she came up with it after watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and talking about sushi. I don't quite understand it, but I don't quite understand a lot of things, so its ok :D

My sig comes from my username. and mute math's song Peculiar People. Isaiah 40:31 is also on of my favorite verses.

same q

My sigs come from:

a) One of my all time favorite scripture verses.
B) What happens when you have a couple Calvinist joke about Predestination at 12 @ night.
c) My favorite Tolkien quote. (It's just good advise)
d) and my Xanga

I'm quite proud of predestination is a reality...if you don't accept it it's because God doesn't want you to... it's become a cult saying with a couple of my friends. We spout it at random people on the street. :D

same Q.

Mine's just a picture of the type of boat that I have.

I guess it's time for a new question:
If you could have or do anything in the world, what would it be?

Easy, easy, easy: present Jesus to every single person!!! The Bible says after this gospel is preached in all nations, then the end comes. Can't wait!

(The end of time as we know it and the beginning of eternity with Christ, that's what I can't wait for -- ah, yeah, I can wait, and I am having a fine old time waiting, but I'm anxious to see what it will be like, too.)

That's my nuber one choice, and I don't care how it's done, as long as everyone understand what Jesus did for them. My number two thing, if I could do anything in the world, would be scuba diving in the Galapagos.

Same Q: if you could do anything in the world, what would it be?

Edit: Oy, this was suppose to answer, "If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?"

I would fly back out to England, and visit the British Museum there (I can't remember the name) I have always been interested in the history of humanity, and I think through understanding how our world got this way, we can move forward with better co-operation in all peoples. After all, if everyone understands why everyone thinks their certain way, they will most likely have an open mind to any given situation.

I don't really know who I want to meet...this is hard... maybe God? ..... Oh! And maybe also Charlie Chaplin and Albert Einstein? I thought Chaplin looked pretty funny with his moustache(sp?). As for Einstein, I don't know why I want to meet him. His name sort of popped into my head. :D If it were from my past, I'd like to meet my friends from primary school. *Sigh, those were the times... I haven't seen them in a long time and I miss them!

Same Question.
