Yeah, Oompa Loompas were kind of scary at least the original ones. I haven't seen the new movie, so I don't know about those.
I think if the moviemakers really want to, they'll do worse than these suggestions. The can ruin just about any great story.OMG all of these suggestions are super funny! But actually I would be pretty sad to see most of them happening. I want the movie-makers to stick to the book pretty well. Which is why I'm glad Disney pulled out.
When the Dawn Treader gets attacked by the giant sea serpent have them animate it using claymation instead of CGI. You know, as a shout out to old school film making.
If they are going to do claymation, they might as well make Gumby and Pokey shipmates on the Dawn Treader.

brilliant mental image there. i can just see when the sea serpent dies and little lumps of clay flying around..
Eustace: (muttering to himself) It didn't even look real...
Wait! didn't you say you'll write it?
We had started a thread to write a draft of it, but it only got to two pages. It was called 'VotDT: Our draft for Disney' I think. We may as well just do it here or make a new thread, since Disney isn't even doing it anymore.
Back in the wild days of this thread, I even made this banner: LOL!
The only problem is, indeed, Ramandu's daughter. But does she actually contribute anything to the story? Please don't kill me, but I think she could also be left out.
Sorry to interrupt the script - which looks great - ...
But do you really think it's gonna be that bad? I think they've had a lot of criticism and less subtle hints about the changes made to PC.
And now that we also have a new director, the movie might actually stick to the book. At least, I'm still hoping.

It would be weird if the romance made it into the movie, because of Susan and because it's such a weird part in the book. Like: oh, stargirl. Well, I guess I'm in love. I'll marry her. At least Caspian knew Susan longer than a few seconds.
