exactly. "scar" could mean anything--all we can do is post insane theories, lol--theres no way to really guess at what that could mean.
 
My theory on who dies in Book 7 is that it is Snape and Hermione.

And that's all I will say about that, it is pretty complicated who I came to it and I have a Potions er Chemistry Exam tomorrow I must go study for.
 
Sooo.. I reread the first book last night and I can accross something that I had forgotten about. Snape was saved by James Potter! To this day he has been trying to protect Harry, it is evident now that he is not evil. He has prevented Harry's death so many times. He is definitely on the good side!

yea but... Snape only saved harry to sorta pay back James for saving him. at least, that is what Dumbledore says.

I am surprised that not many people are saying Ron or Hermione would die :eek: I think it could be a possibility but everyone is gravitating to the adults of the story. Why is that? Why couldn't it be one of Harry's best friends?
 
I really just don't see them being killed. It's like they are the future in case Harry dies. I see no reason to kill them off.

Lets not forget this is war we are talking about many characters will die as Jo has said herself it's going to be a bloodbath wether we like it or not... :(

I thought at one point that Harry's scar could mean that he is a horcrux because Voldemort transferred some of his powers and himself into Harry that night through his scar and thats why Harry can sometimes sense what he is feeling.
Why couldn't this transfer of power be part of Voldemort's soul??
But then Harry would have to die in order to kill Voldemort and I actually don't think Jo could kill Harry... So I have mixed views on this...
 
I think JKR would kill off Harry with no problem--probably the biggest debate of all time concerning HP is if Harry will die.

I think Neville may be more important during the war against Voldemort and his supporters.. he has gradually grown better and better at magic and especially in the Order of the Phoenix he was an important part of the big duel at the end in the ministry.
 
Yeah Neville is still a main character whose traits have been built over the course of the series. There would be no point evolving the character if he is not going to play a significant role in the seventh book...

i think that it is going to be Heromine and Ron but i hope not!

In the book he didn't come across as athletic as he did on the screen.

i didn't know he was coming back... I wonder whats gonna happen, if hes gonna help fight against Voldemort or whatever.. and probably make Ron really jealous too :eek:

I bet he gets fired from the ministry and has to eat his pride at some point. And for him that could be quite a mouthful.
